SPECIAL FEATURES
- Comes in a variety of colours - design can be customised from either a list of designs or customers can upload their own designs.
- Armoured Shell - The exceptionally tough but lightweight metal of the outer shell can keep the occupant safe and secure while being carried.
- Follow mode - can be set to track a fob carried by another individual, the distance and persistence of the follow can be adjusted using the remote fob. From maximum persistence always being a metre away. To low persistence allowing the adult to pop to the bathroom whilst the pod idles nearby
- Environmentally controlled - a ECSS-01r installed inside the pram keeps the temperature and humidity of the pram at a comfortable level. This can be adjusted by the remote fob but safety features monitor the occupant and override settings if necessary. The pram, when closed, filters out particles and other hazards from the outside air
- Sealed mode (short term) - the casing can be sealed entirely against the outside atmosphere, but the pram only has a limited internal air supply, enough for a couple of hours at most.
- Digital companion - Sérhannaðar AI manages the functions of the pram including controlling the environment, pathing for the follow mode, gyroscopic stability and other safety and comfort features.
- Flight - Gyroscopically stabilised, silent running repulsors allow the pram to float above the ground with a default setting of around 1 metre and standard speed equivalent to unaided human. The device can can maintain a top speed of upto 120km/h but safety systems prevent harsh acceleration and maneuvers whilst occupied. Maximum speed is limited to short bursts to prevent overheating
STRENGTHS
- Well protected - with its armoured shell, environmental controls and mobility, its occupants will be safe and comfortable in many situations.
- Smart tech - The AI system monitors and controls many of the systems to ensure the best in comfort and control, allowing the carer to concentrate on other tasks
- Flight - while limited, the flight capability of the pram is extremely useful for a parent that wishes to be mobile and unhindered
WEAKNESSES
- Flight limitations - Due to lack of Inertial dampening systems, the AI strictly limits the flight capabilities whole occupied, to ensure the safety of the passenger. The maximum speed is also limited to prevent overheating
- Environmental limitations - The environmental protection provided by the pram will work in most normal circumstances, but sustained extreme heat will overwhelm the systems and endanger the occupants. The limited air supply also prevents its being indefinitely sealed off from outside atmosphere.
- No active defenses - The pram is durable and able to resist most attacks, but with no means to defend itself it is just a matter of perseverance on the attackers part so it should not be expected to survive alone in a hostile environment.
DESCRIPTION
With a clan of entirely female bounty hunters this need was bound to come up sooner or later and off the shelf solutions just did not do the job.
What was needed was a very durable and smart baby protector to allow the Orchids to carry on being mothers if it was their wish, whilst also carrying out their duties. The device proved popular and is now marketed to customers outside of the house itself.
The pod can be ordered in a sleek brushed or polished metal finish, or in any number of colours to match the varied personalities of those that may purchase it. It keeps its content safe, allows a sleeping baby to follow its parent at a predetermined pace, all managed by a high tech AI system.
