STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

[+] Living For a Legend: Barron comes from a family line of legendary pilots and leaders, most notable of which are Soontir and Jagged Fel of the Galactic Empire and Imperial Remnant respectably. As such, Barron has made it his life's work to become a courageous, unstoppable pilot and naval officer. This was only helped by his being born and raised on a starship, making him feel more at home in the stars than on the ground.

[+] Royal Names, Humble Beginnings: Despite his being born royalty, Barron was raised during a dark time for the Fel Dynasty. After the death of his father, Ronin Fel, Barron found himself on the run from a crumbling Empire and the leering gaze of outraged Sith. From the age of 5, he was raised on the minimal necessities, from ship to planet and back to ship again. He is used to the routine of change and knows how to appreciate what he has.

[+] Neo-Imperialism: Imperials by Fel standards are vastly different than those of the Sith or even recent Imperial factions. "Imperial with a personal face" was often used to describe Fel Imperialism as they are a highly developed non-beurocratic system that fixed many of the issues the First Galactic Empire had. This soft imperialism advocates for greater personal freedoms but higher security than standard empires, making Fel more appealing in his views than standard Sith and Galactic Imperials of our day.

[+] Force Sensitive: Barron is a Force Sensitive from a powerful bloodline of the same, something his father grew too old to ever truly discover within himself. Barron, however, is young and has the benefit of experienced force users being at his side. This has allowed him to hone his abilities much better than his fther before him, increasing his general fighting ability and charm.

[-] Getting Cocky Kid: Fel lacks his father's patient thought on matters. He is sure of his own abilities and that of his proven crew, this can sometimes get him into trouble in personal situations where his interest in meeting people he has heard about trumps his common sense. Young, fiery green blood runs in his veins after all.

[-] Order and Peace: Imperial culture demands loyalty and Fel is an idealistic warrior who refuses to disobey an order. He believes that if he were to simply disobey an order he didn't like, he would be a hypocrite and thusly, will bend the parameters of an order but would never break it, unless it was obviously unimperial or illegal. This leaves Fel open to being thrust into suicidal situations or used by those above him.

[-] Jango I am Not: Fel is not a warrior trained for ground combat. Although he can hold his own with a small blaster, he is easily outmatched by infantry on the field of planetary warfare.

APPEARANCE:

The Fel family is easy to spot, this is no different with Barron. This man is young, with the square jaw of his ancestor Jagged, eyes of his father Ronin and Corellian swagger of the first Imperial in his bloodline, Soontir. This is, of course, accented by the natural white streaks that cut through his otherwise solid black hair; a trademark of the Fel family. Most would consider Barron an especially attractive sort, noting his piercing blue eyes and line cut face. This is assuming they can get passed, or are attracted to, his Corellian style and demeanor.

Living humbly in his personal life, Barron always felt more at home in a flight suit or pair of Corellian cargo pants than he ever did in Imperial Knight armor or royal robes. He walks with the strut of wild west cowboy and dresses down in snug Corellian vests and boots over Imperial military fatigues or pocked cargo clothing. He has particularly become fond of wearing Corellian blood stripes down the sleeves of his arms and has made them a permanent staple in his flight suit, reinstating it as an official 181st trademark just as his ancestor Soontir had in the Galactic Empire.

BIOGRAPHY:

Barron was born a failure. For centuries the Fel family had tried to restore their former glory and for centuries they had failed, their fortune draining away as they tried to piece together what fragments of an Empire they still had left. By the time Barron was born, the planets were lost, the fleets dispersed and only his father and a handful of loyalist descendants remained. Phantoms of a great Empire that once brought peace, justice, and security to the galaxy. While his ancestors had lived in luxury and commanded armies, he lived this life only in the public eye. The extravagant robes he adorned in the light were bought at discount, the shining armor crafted from durasteel peeled from the interior of the last ship in the family's possession.

All of it an elaborate smoke and mirror illusion to hide the truth. The family fortune had been spent over centuries of trying to restore a fractured empire and there was barely enough left to pay what connections it would take to even think of restoring the Fel. So while in the sun they would play the parts of noblemen of old coming to bring riches to the masses, while in the dark they lived as little more than nomadic, traveling in a ship with a glimmering hull that housed rotting beams just under the surface. Cans of beans and MREs were the closest to a luxury meal he would have for most of his life, which never saw him staying on one planet for more than a few months at a time.

This only bothered him at first, until he realized something. He loved space. When he was on the surface of a world, he had to dress and act as someone he knew he wasn't. But when he was away from the world, secluded in the darkness of the ancient vessel, he could be who he was. This led to an early fascination with space flight and with starfighters in particular. The ancient Paelleon Star Destroyer he and his father lived in alongside a crew barely strong enough to man it, housed clunky TIE fighters that dated back to the Galactic Empire era and they would serve as his first introduction to Starfighter flight.

His father's scolding didn't stop him, he was determined to fly even if it was in a coffin attached to tattered wings. With the help of old holovideos and some guidance from his father's loyalists, Barron was able to learn enough not to crash to his death and with years of practice, he became notably proficient in the art of not crashing.

When his father finally managed to reform the Fel Empire, utilizing upheaval in the Sith Empire to spark an uprising, Barron was finally able to fly in true combat situations. He proved to be a natural pilot, just as it had run in his family for generations. Finally, he was able to fly modern starfighters and eat meals meant for kings. But this wasn't to last. @Darth Carnifax murdered his father in his office soon after the Sith Empire had collapsed and the fragile Fel Imperium died with him.

Without a father's guidance nor an Empire to serve, Barron floated across the galaxy to sell his service as a freight runner and smuggler. But deep inside, he knew he could be more...he wanted to be more. He wanted to be Imperial. So he sought them out and came across the Galactic Empire and their Grand Admiral Lucien E. Irridius. He would serve with the Galactic Empire until the series of incidents at Myrkr drove Irridius to abandon the Empire and the corruption its structure so obviously held.

Now, under the leadership of Lucien Irridius, he commands with the 181st TIE Wing under the lead flight squadron "Black Squadron".
