• Sheltered - As with his sister, Bastion was kept away from other children. Unlike with his sister, this was primarily because his parents believed that he would be the same as her. He only had one friend. Now, while he is far more developed than Ivlyn socially because he was allowed to venture out at 15 when his father realized that he was different, it has led to Bastion’s understanding of relationships to be warped. Aside from jealousy and possessiveness, Bastion can be prone to bouts of paranoia. He’s also terrified of the idea of being hidden away.

  [SIZE=11pt][*]Spatial Barriers: Bastion is capable of compressing space time down onto itself, and generating spatial barriers that he can use as platforms to walk on walls or such, or as powerful defenses far more durable than Force barriers. While the continued application of damage to his barriers will eventually bring them down, the spatial barriers are durable enough to withstand continued heavy weapons fire and even a proton bomb or two. They are the ultimate defense in Bastion’s arsenal. He can’t really attack all that well while he is inside of one, necessarily, but because they allow him to manipulate the vectors of things that they come into contact with, he can send attacks right back at the enemy. The barriers block psionic attacks as well as the physical, and can reverse the state of things that are within the barrier, which may technically grant healing, but in general Bastion uses it to repair things. [SIZE=11pt]The Arkanian Gene: Bastion has the same molecularly sharp mind as his sister, and as bright as she is in science, Bastion is in the likes of history and engineering. He also isn’t too bad at naval command and strategy, having excelled particularly in that area to the point that it has earned him the rank of Captain of some “upstart” that his sister wouldn’t approve of.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Claws: Bastion is capable of retracting his Arkanian claws, or deploying them for use.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Infrared Vision: Modified to protect his eyesight by granting him control over how sensitive his eyes are - which is useful on worlds with young, bright stars for Arkanians - Bastion nonetheless is capable of seeing in the infrared spectrum.[/SIZE]
