FACTION: None
RANK: None
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 31
SEX: Male
HEIGHT: 5'11"
WEIGHT: 163lbs.
EYES: Brown
HAIR: Black
SKIN: Light brown
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes
FORCE ABILITIES: Bat Rum has a Force-driven, innate ability to play musical instruments extremely well, provided he's given himself enough exposure, and he's in the right frame of mind. He has been able to become proficient with a new instrument in as little as two weeks, and can currently play more than nine different instruments with varying levels of expertise. Besides the technical skill, he is also able to play with soul, from the heart, and convey meaning along with the notes, rather than just being technically proficient.
Bat Rum is also capable of Force Push, Force Leap, and Run, but only under duress.
He owns a lightsaber hilt (the one he got his name from), but it currently does not function (missing the crystal). Is it yours? You can't have it back.
DC-17 Hand Blaster, haunted by the ghost of Savage Opress (see "Dead Man's Gun" below):
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Very agile
Found/improvised weapon combat
Quick-witted/fast-talker
An excellent musician
Has trouble running from a fight
Doesn't know when he's losing
A sucker for a pretty face, regardless of the species
Hates droids; if he owned a cantina he wouldn't allow them in.
APPEARANCE:
Standing just under six feet in height, Bat Rum Hilt has the athletic build stereotypical of a swashbuckler. He tries to keep his long black hair tiwd back, but it tends to escape on its own, which is why he wears several extra hair elastics on his right wrist.
Bat's eyes are constantly searching whatever room he's in, whether it's for traps or opportunities.

BIOGRAPHY:
Bat Rum Hilt was raised by Weequay pirates after becoming the sole survivor of a raid on a transport ship. Having been taken in by what some thought was mercy but what Keelin Torgomoth claimed was "a conscious decision to never waste resources," Torgomoth named him after the first three things he saw in the loot from the ship they'd taken, and didn't speak to him again for eleven years.
Bat Rum was raised by the community, starting with being nursed by notorious pirate Leeta Noma (who was on maternity leave). Growing up he was taught all the things a proper Weequay freebooter needed to know, and was raised in the Sant tradition.
Bat Rum had a love of music from early in his life, and as he grew he began spending more time with the musicians in the village. He studied under the tutelage of now-renowned Jatz drummer "Thunder" Thune Torgomoth, brother to the pirate who'd taken Bat in.
Bat also learned how to fight, shoot, and pilot, these being skills every good pirate needed. Eventually he was old enough to join a raiding crew, and this was when Keelin Torgomoth brought him into his crew, to replace "Odd" Ornothus Lum, who'd had both arms and his head blown off opening a booby-trapped smugglers hatch on a ship they'd taken.
SHIP:
Bat Rum owns a B-Wing fighter that he won in a batana game that escalated into a duel to the death. He's not sorry.
He carries it inside the Discourteous, a galleon he claimed during a particularly profitable attack on a rival pirate crew. 90% of them survived. Honest. Five of them joined Bat's crew. The rest are out there somewhere still, probably.
KILLS: None
BOUNTIES COLLECTED: None
