STRENGTHS

• Parrying Tools - Paired gauntlets of Beskar and Cortosis allow the wearer to deflect or short circuit most Lightsabers with careful strikes from the forearm and fist.
• Kinetic Dampening - Upgraded with a modified imperial breastplate made from duraplast and lined with kinetic impact gel, the armor is able to withstand most ballistic weaponry either via the durable cuirass or the absorbing impact gel.

WEAKNESSES

• Minimalist Coverage - Designed with speed and concealment in mind, the armor serves to protect only the torso, upper shoulders, forearms and (left)fist. Furthermore, the black reflec coating was chosen for aesthetic purposes, covering too little of the body to benefit stealth.
• Plasmatic Defense - Designed to compliment a lightsaber, all focus was drawn toward kinetic defenses that were previously lacking, such as slugthrower weaponry that was notoriously difficult to fend off with the sith's favored weapons, thus this newest armor sacrifices much by way of plasmatic defenses.

DESCRIPTION
Darth Anathemous had always been known among Kainites as an adaptable woman, unbreaking as iron but always able to bend with the flow if it meant coming out on top. This battle armor was, in a way, Kaila adapting to her first encounter with the infamous slugthrower, a weapon that could not be deflected via lightsaber, and was much too fast even for the heightened senses of most force sensitive opponents. While far from a complete countermeasure, Darth Anathemous was quick to fashion a new set of armor soon after claiming the mantle of Darth. This new set of armor was designed almost entirely around kinetic defenses and included a special kinetic impact gel that hardened against incredible blunt force before cracking after it's single use purpose was realized. It also featured her original cortosis gauntlet which she often incorporated into her bizarre and defensive fighting style, but featured a new addition: A Mandalorian vambrace captured during the Siege of Echnos City while fighting House Kryze. The rest of the fallen warrior's armor was gifted to her master, who allowed her to keep the singular vambrace, which seemed to fascinate the former apprentice for reasons beyond her understanding. Little did she know that this too was a test.
