If anyone has a Playstation 4 and will have Battlefield 1 for the early release, I'm down to play with some people and squad up. I will be playing Operations for the most part, it is my style of gameplay. My PSN is DavidUSN, so add we and lets wreck the battlefields of WWI together

I've heard little about this game but only now find out it's set in and around WWI, which is something I find totally appealing, like the old 'Call Of Duty' games in WWII.

Hope this delivers, and it certainly looks good.

We'll play the multiplayer operation of the game, which do simulate the futility of these battles in real life. Purchased this myself on the PS4, thus far it's only impressed me and the review by Gamespot compared it to the splendor that was Bad Company, as opposed to their more recent releases.

I've not witnessed any bugs in the initial days which is somewhat unbelievable if I'm honest, given how hard BF3 and BF4 were to start out. I am a little concerned about the lack of Clan Tags though holding my breath until the public release to see if they implement them then. I know of a rather decent ANZ clan that I'm very much considering rejoining >.>

You can get the clan tags through Battlefield.com, seemingly can't add them in game menu.

I've been enjoying every second of the game so far, the maps are brilliantly designed and even with a heavy scout population it only adds to the feel that we are playing in a by-gone era. They have done a brilliant job with the feel of everything, so much so that when you read all the people saying things like, "The guns feel weird compared to Battlefield 4" you can easily understand that the reason was simply because there is a hefty 100 year difference between the settings.

I play on ze Xbox. If anyone is looking for a partner to start a squad up with.

I ordered the Early Enlister edition, figured that it would be done across the Battlefield1 Companion App as well though the last two days it's been unavailable. There was speculation however that they would add Clan tags when the public release eventually dropped and considering I'm struggling to get into the old battlelog now whereas before I could, it would seem there's certainly changes going on. I think that perhaps being in New Zealand I might be a bit behind in the update to Dice/EA's setup of it all though with the confirmation of Clan Tags, that makes me incredibly happy lol. No complaints now

And yes, the old school feel of the combat, how heavy the tanks are and how the planes fly; the immersion of the era that they've focused on has been very successful in my opinion.

EDIT: Everything seems to be working now though the Clan Tags thing is a question that a lot are asking on the forum by the looks of it. I can't seem to see where it is on the Companion App at all >.>

Yes this game has a steep learning curve, I find use the AA guns they tend to boost your score a lot, and also I tend to play Operations

Does anyone know for Xbox One if it's double XP weekend or something? In my operations games I keep getting defense ratings of 156/29, 132/29 etc.

Nope that is normal, just means you put up one hell of a defense, I have been getting 100+s on PS4
