Candidates were taken through brief physical and psychological testing in order to see if they made the minimum requirements. If they passed, they were offered a job as a mercenary for Battlewell security and arms. One of the highest ranks a recruit could achieve was that of a Battlewell Intergalatic Marine. To qualify as a marine, an individual most have previous experience in the military or had an extensive career as a mercenary or bounty hunter. The marine hopefuls went through several months of intense training, most of which familiarized them with their mech in different combat scenarios. To become a graduate, one must show complete and total knowledge of the mech as well as combat expertise.
