Bay Watching (Aika)

Lavorn Beach, Laekia.

The bright sun was shining upon the lovely beach and the beautiful ocean that was stretched out as far as the naked eye could follow. At this time of the day it the beach filled with tourists enjoying the time and tested leisure activity of sunbathing. Others were made of more active stuff and taking to the sea on sailing boats. Here, far away from the troubles and wars of the Galaxy, people could relax, forget their troubles and enjoy the view. Of course, as with everything, such moments of peace and tranquility were fleeting. The sun may set upon Laekia and the Sanctum, though at this juncture this was far from people's minds, and so waves swept against the beach, children played played happily and built sandcastles.

Abruptly the water's ocean seemed to bubble and splash, as the shapely form of a woman emerged from beneath it and swam upward. Siobhan took a breath as she emerged, her body soaked and dripping with, well, water. As can be imagined after having gone for a good dive. Her dark brown mane was tied back rather than being allowed to flow freely, she was dressed only in a...very brief swimsuit that did a good job highlighting her curves, though assuredly no kiddies would be harmed.

The warmth of the sun kissed her skin and , seemingly paying no one else any heed, she stretched slightly, toned muscles visibly tensing and rippling. Stepping forward she sauntered up towards the beach in a manner that was probably meant to draw attention to herself, though much to her annoyance she could not fully lose the annoying limp in her flesh leg. Sometimes the Countess needed to take a step back and relax. Officially she had come to Laekia due to business, dealing with Levantine reps since Firemane was going to be investing so heavily in the confederation, but the peace and calm had appealed to her.

So much on her mind in such a short time. The coming destruction of Kaeshana, first contact with Tygara and raising her two daughters. But right now these thoughts were banished from her mind as she sauntered across the sand - sand is coarse and gets everywhere! Her hair fluttered in the breeze of the wind and she carried herself with the air of a woman who thought she might as well own the beach, her hips swaying in the wind. Pulling her cane towards her with a telekinetic tug she approached her beach chair and took her towel into her hand, casually beginning to dry herself off.

Aika Kawakami

Can one find true light when shadowed in darkness?
This was not the usual Aika...no she was a bit different as her shuttle began to descend and decrease speed as if prepared for its inevitable landing. Meanwhile, the obviously distraught Jedi Master sat upon the floor of the her vessel, arms and legs crossed as her lips pressed out, resembling that of a pout. And that was something she simply never did.

A somewhat loud grunt escaped her barely parted lips, as if to remind her pilot of her dislike for the situation. "Remind me again... Of all the things I could be doing.... Why did I agree to let you drag me here?" Her voice was more than loud enough to reach the cockpit, bringing a heavy chuckle from Captain Valen, the only pilot in the galaxy that willingly put up with her.

"See? That attitude right there, Counselor. Your too tense. If your not meditating, your training someone. If your not training someone, your meditating. And if your not doing either, your on some sort of diplomatic assignment for the Silvers. You need to relax and let some stress off, or you'll lose your mind. And what better place to do that than a beautiful beach? Plus, your dressed for it! Might as well enjoy!"

Dressed for it... that she was. Her head hung slightly as she glanced down at her own attire. She'd traded her usual long, skin tight attire and boots for something a bit better for the weather. Shorts that barely went mid way down her thighs, a sleeveless shirt that stopped just below her chest, and she'd traded her usual jacket for a sleeveless open vest. It was all black, of course, which made her incredibly fair skin look even closer to pale. To anyone who didn't look close enough, she'd probably look like a ghost trying to hide from the sun. But that was neither here nor there.

The grimace upon her face switched to a rather normal look as her head raised to its normal position. "Well, Captain, it seems you alone did not harbor this idea.. I sense something....quite powerful. Someone else is nearby.."

"Yeah, so I see. Someone just crawled out of the water. Surprised someone that looks like her is here alone. Kind of makes you wonder, huh?" Finally, the ship let its landing gear loose, landing safely a bit away from where the woman had emerged from the water, loading ramp intermediately dropping to the sandy shore below.

Aika rose to her feet, a small grin upon her lips as she made her way down to the shore, barefoot and all, her voice calling back into the ship. "Don't get your hopes up. Remember, you said this wasn't a vacation for you." As she made the final step down, the sudden change from the cold metal of the ramp, to the sun warmed sand below her feet seemed to put her at ease. Rolling her head back just enough to look toward the blue skies above, a small sigh escaping her lips. Maybe, just maybe, for once, her pilot had a point..

Siobhan had been somewhat theatralically drying herself off. Presumably without bothering to cover herself much because she was the sort of woman who loved being the centre of attention. Besides, she had bountiful...assets. A pretty servant girl walked over and brought her a drink, which she graciously accepted with a smile and a kiss. "Thanks, sweetie." Naturally she gave the maiden a good grope on her toosh. Siobhan happened to be the sort who appreciated beauty and, despite her noble title and the fact that she was a mother, the concepts of shame and subtlety were still thoroughly lost on her.

However, while she took a sip from her drink a new presence beckoned her attention. She had heard the engines of the ship roar and seen it descend, but only now did she really see the gourgeous woman who had stepped out. At first she had almost looked like a ghost trying to hide from the sun, but upon closer inspection Siobhan saw how beautiful she was. Suffice to say she appreciated that Aika was...quite revealingly dressed. That said she felt the Force emanate from the woman, she clearly had power. Felt like Jedi. Perhaps Levantine or Silver. Either way the day was about to get interested.

"Would you like me to cream you in, Mistress?" Harmony purred into her ear, producing a bottle of sun scream. Totally just to make sure that Siobhan's skin did not get sun-burnt. No sensual massages here.

"Yes, dear, thank you," Siobhan said happily as she looked upon the approaching stranger. "This looks like fun."

Her mind seemed to return to the present only seconds later, head returning to its normal upright position. What she saw, however, piqued her already aroused curiosity to new heights. It was obvious this one had servants, or at the least, ones who were loyal enough to cater to her whims. Those types were always by their master's sides, loyal as can be...and to a fault.

There's something about this one....
Indeed. She's a bit...different from others we have encountered.
I'd be careful if I were you. This one maybe more difficult than she looks.
That is more of a guarantee, than a possibility. Only one way to know for sure...

Aika paced through the sands, kicking up bits of the tiny material as she sashayed across its surface. The azure iris' bounced from one being to the next as she eyed the apparent servants, and the well endowed woman. It would take but a minute or so for her steps to bring the two to within steps of one another. For a few moments, she simply stood there, staring into her eyes without so much as a word. That was aburtly ended as the corners of her lips stretched across her face, grin expanding. "An isolated spot, I presume? Do pardon my interruption."

Siobhan did not mind the newcomer in the least. When Aika arrived the Countess had been the very nimble fingers of Harmony while the dark skinned servant girl thoroughly creamed her employer in with sun scream. After all, it would be bad if she suffered from a sunburn!

For her part Siobhan flashed the newcomer a smile. "You're not interrupting in the least, darling. A beautiful lady like you is definitely welcome here," the Countess said warmly. For some reason her servant could not keep herself from giggling and snickering slightly. Of course, there was obviously no reason for that because Siobhan was just being her normal friendly self. Yes, just her normal friendly self. That said she did give the newcomer a good one-over. There was no denying the fact that the woman was very attractive and the white streak in her hair gave her a rather exotic look. "Do join me. What's your name? I'm Siobhan Kerrigan."

Well, her eyes certainly told where her mind was, that's for sure...

Watching the apparent servant adorn the one now known as Siobhan with sunblock, while trying to converse with her, was a bit odd. But then again, there was nothing normal about this situation...Or this galaxy... Or anything else that Aika had seen throughout most of her life. Then again, she a native of Onderon who didn't hunt..ever. So, most wouldn't consider her normal either, but that's neither here nor there.

Her found themselves jumping between the two women as they snickered, though each time they found themselves looking Siobhan over. Top to bottom, bottom to top. She was obviously well endowed, and didn't mind showing such a figure off. Then again, if one has it, should they not flaunt it? Of course they should. If the two were compared, Aika would seem over dressed, even if she was far less covered than normal.

"A beautiful lady like me? My. my quite the greeting. Though, part of me hoped I would be intruding. I get the feeling that would have made this situation all the more fascinating.." She released a soft chuckle of her own as she took a few, small steps forward until she stood side by side with the raven haired woman. "Aika Kawakami. I doubt you've heard anything of me, as most haven't. But you, Siobahn... Your name is famous for many things. Not all of them related to your occupation, I would say."

She would have found it fascinating if she had gotten to intrude on something. Naturally Siobhan just had to make a corny attempt at flirtation. "Fascinating, huh? If you'd 'intruded' would you have just watched or joined in?" at that she winked at the enticing Jedi. Siobhan's lines tended to be as corny as a maize field. She definitely liked being called famous. After all, she did have a bit of an ego. She patted a towel spread out on the ground next to the one she was sitting on, indicating that Aika should join her.

"Famous for breaking down roofs or for her voracious...appetites?" Harmony snarked because as everyone knows servant girls were at their best when they were misbehaving. Having fully adorned Siobhan with sun block to keep her lovely and at times deeply scarred skin from being roasted, she applied her nimble fingers to give her mistress a good shoulder rub, which, as the pleasured sigh escaping Siobhan's throat showed, the woman evidently enjoyed.

"You flatter me, Aika. Dear Harmony is very good with her fingers. If you'd like a massage, I'm sure she'd love to help you out. You have me at a bit of a disadvantage though. I've heard your name, but know so little about you. I'd love to get to know you better."

I'm not sure if we should be more worried about her potential to mess everything up, or about trying to keep ourselves from becoming any less dressed...
Oddly, I was just thinking the same thing...

"Such a question.. I believe it's the first time anyone has posed such a thing to me," If anyone who knew her in her younger days had seen her, they would have seen the old Aika begin to surface. Her head shook to quickly gather her thoughts before releasing a quiet, yet slightly nervous chuckle. By all means, this was the most forward person she'd ever met. And without a doubt, the most forward towards her.

Given the invitation to join her, and knowing that by now her pilot was more than likely drooling as he napped, it left her with but a single choice. Shoulders shrugging, AIka lowered herself onto the towel, grinning toward the two as she crossed her legs before exhaling lightly. "Hm... I suppose it's a bit of both. Then again, most have heard of her abilities. As far as the appetite..." Her words froze instantly as she blinked, realizing just what kind of conversation she was headed into. Her fair cheeks flushed with an extremely light pink, which still was obvious given her complexion.

"Hate to break it to you, but there's not much to know about me, honestly. I'm just someone working their way through the galaxy, figuring things out. But I am curious how you've heard my name."

"The first time? Oh, that makes me feel special. I'm surprised though. You are very pretty after all," Siobhan said with a totally innocent smile. Yes, innocent! This writer has difficulty imagining Siobhan as ever being innocent. Except when she was a little kid and stuff. The pink flush on Aika's fair cheeks was just adorable. She looked so cute. Somehow Siobhan had the impression that things had gotten a lot hotter. Well, obviously things were hot, it was a beach after all!

"Truly, I think you're selling yourself short and being too modst. You've certainly aroused my interest." Not making lame innuendo at all here. "As for how I've heard your name, I do have some ties to the Silvers and like to keep informed. Especially when it comes to their pretty Masters."

She glanced over to her comely maiden. "Harmony, dear, pour some wine for us and our new friend," she said sweetly before turning her attention back to Aika. "What exactly are you trying to figure out, sweetie? Maybe I can help you." Totally by accident her hand brushed against Aika's, stroking softly.

(Sorry for the delay! Internet went poof for a few. All better now, though!)

Ties to the Silvers? This one? Were they talking about the same Order of Silvers Jedi that Aika was a part of? For the life of her, she couldn't think of how Siobhan would have any connection to the SJO. Then again, she did find her way around the galaxy, so it wasn't impossible. Crazy, maybe, but not impossible.

While certainly not a drinker, matter of fact, she couldn't have remembered having a drink if she had tried, she wasn't going to turn down the pleasant gift that was being poured for her. Figuring out Siobhan was proving to be a bit more difficult than she had imagined. It was like picking a lock with nothing but a flimsy piece of wire, and Aika was no mastermind at picking such locks. Nonetheless, she turned her head toward the gorgeous, oceanic view, the wind sifting through her hair just enough to send the ends of her ponytail flailing about.

"What wouldn't I be trying to figure out? This galaxy is filled with secrets most can't even comprehend. But, at the present time, I think the only thing I'm attempting to figure out is.." Her glance shifted to the corners of her eyes, falling upon the brazen woman that had welcomed her company. "You. I've heard your name, and of your exploits, yet you remain an enigma. So, just who is Siobhan Kerrigan?"

((No problem! Been having computer troubles as well))

Now, that made Siobhan laugh. Genuinely. "Haha. I've been called many things...enigma is never been one of them! I'm used to thinking I'm an open book. Siobhan Kerrigan is a woman who was born in the gutter, had to fight to survive and now finds herself at the top. She's killed many, but saved thousands more. She's a good wife and a loving mother...or at least she tries to be! She appreciates the finer things in life...especially beautiful women," she gave Aika a wink at that before taking a sip from her wine, flashing Aika a bright smile.

"And for some reason she's referring to herself in the third person now. If there's anything you want to ask me, go ahead, darling. But then I have to ask who Aika Kawakami is? Because right now I just know she's a gourgeous Jedi."

Like a swift breeze strong enough to carry away a loose device from someone's grip, her eyes narrowed at the woman. That one simple word, Jedi, was enough illicit such a sudden change in her expression.Though it didn't last, quickly softening to its normal state.

"Jedi. I find the name to be so....archaic. Where you see a Jedi, I see s person who is far more than that, and far wiser as well. And where you also see a an open book, I see a woman who seems to enjoy talking about herself in the third person. Which means she must, to some degree or another, somewhat insane." Her lips extended, grins reappearing once more as she softly chuckled. "I think your more of an enigma than you give yourself credit for, my dear. But, then some would also call you a murderer. But who are they to judge?"

The mood change in Aika was sudden and passed as soon as it came, like a swift breeze. Interesting how such a word could affect her so much. After all, she was a Jedi last the Countess had checked. Siobhan just chuckled slightly. "Somewhat insane? Perhaps! I've been called a murderer and worse a few times. I suppose people who say that have their reasons...and haven't faced the same things I have. It's easy to judge sanctimoniously from afar in an ivory tower," she responded evenly, taking another sip from her wine.

"Anyhow, I meant no offence calling you a Jedi, dear. I don't like labelling people and putting them into boxes either." Well, except if they were Sith. In that case she got intolerant pretty fast!

Aika Kawakami

"Offended me?" A small chuckle escaped her lips, head shaking as the soft grin returned once more. "Not at all. It is, after all, what most know me as. Well, either that or the type of diplomat who never seems to show up on time." With the last part, her head turned towards her shuttle, knowing full well that the one at fault laid within, more than likely snoozing the day away.

Her arms raised into the air, stretching as if reaching to grasp the clouds before falling back upon the towel below her. Her sprawled out form would be more on display than she was even aware of, as the sun seemed to simply beam down upon her, her dark hair framing her face, "I must say, your much more laid back than I had anticipated. I thought you would be more cold..hardened, if you will. But, instead.. You seem to be no more than a normal woman attempting to live her life. How I envy such a thing..."

[member="Aika Kawakami"]

Siobhan laughed, clearly feeling very amused. "Haha. I used to be colder, harder and probably rather bitchy. Still can be if needed. But I suppose marriage and motherhood mellowed me and calmed me down a bit," she said with a sweet smile. As for Aika's gourgeous, sprawled out form, needless to say Siobhan was definitely noticing it.

She was also not at all being subtle when it came to her appreciation of it. Harmony snickered a bit and refilled their glasses. After all, good wine should not go to waste. "What's keeping you from relaxing, dear? Your duties? It's a lovely day today, but you do seem tense. Maybe I can help you relax a bit more."
