ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Compartmentalized Design
  • Large Hangar
Strengths:
  • Dual Hangar Launch Bay: Similar to the Mythosaur-class Supercarrier, the Bev'uliik-class cruiser's adjacent hangars utilize an emergency conveyor belt system to shift fighters into the opposite hangar should one become inoperable due to battle.
  • Compartmentalized Design: The ship's systems and different blocks can be powered individually and allows for the ship to continue fighting even in dire straights. Also allows for the ship to divert power from compromised sections to aid the remaining portions of the ship to function.
  • Protected Shuttle Bay: Two smaller hangars meant for non-combative shuttles lay beneath the main hangars, providing slight cover for medical and other non-combatants to board the ship.
Weaknesses:
  • Exposed Hangar: Both of the ship's large hangars point forward and are very obvious making them easy targets, especially from the ship's sides.
  • Blind Spots: Both left and right sides of the ship are very lightly armed with light turbolaser turrets. While light turbolaser turrets are better against starfighters than standard turbolasers, they still lack in tracking speed to hit most interceptors or quick fighters. The rear of the ship is also woefully undefended.
  • Very Exposed Brdige: The bridge of the ship is located in the rear left corner of the ship and juts out above the nearly flat surface of the ship.
Description: Taking design cues from the immensely successful re-launch of the Mythosaur-class as a line of dedicated supercarriers, the Bev'uliik-class carrier replaces the older Bes'bavar-class carrier as the mainstay carrier of the Mandalorian Empire. Phased out because of its cumbersome and dangerous hangar design, the BBC-120 steps in with innovations such as Mandalorian Steel, compartmentalized design, and an internal ship transfer system that keeps the ship's hangars active even if one is made inoperable in battle. All of these came from ships before it such as the Ordo-class frigate and MandalHypernautic's line of Mandalorian Steel plated ships. Slow and lumbering through the stars, the Bev'uliik prefers to travel in groups and should never be deployed alone as its light turbolaser turrets and point defense lasers are hardly enough to stop a full on assault. Despite that, two of these frigates dropping out of hyperspace to reinforce a fighter screen is a godsend with over 60 fighters, bombers, interceptors and gunships each tucked away in its two massive hangars.

[member="Zeke Farthen"], at a glance, this appears to be one rating too high, but I could be missing something.

Could you explain your balancing scheme or lower a rating please?

I was going to ask today if I could change it to minor so this works out perfectly, though I would suggest that actually get put somewhere in the rules and it sorted out with all of the judges because you yourself approved one of my starships with an extreme rating at mass produced and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It should also be changed in the starship guide tool.
