SPECIAL FEATURES
BD-F8 was a standard BD droid created to assist in the exploration of the unknown. He worked with various different individuals in exploration of the galaxy, including in exploration of hyperspace routes. It was this line of work that eventually led to his encountering pirates and marauders in the far reaches of the galaxy. His initial memory was wiped when he was captured by the Nihil and his holoprojector, deemed unnecessary, was replaced with a small internal blaster. The idea was to make a cute little droid that could kill anyone they wanted killed without being previously deterred.
Despite their efforts, BD-F8 retained a large portion of his memory, and his personality remained, fighting against his altered programming. Despite this, and his apparently glitchiness as a result of the conflicting programming, he still gets brought along by raiding groups on missions, which is how he met Caelan, who has fixed his programming back to its original state and now BD-F8 is his loyal companion.
