BEAG BODH DERG
[WIP]
Name: Beag Bodh Derg[WIP]
Faction: No Faction at the moment
Rank: Typical Jawa Scavenger
Species: Tatooine Jawa
Age: 22
[/HR]
Sex: Male
Height: 98cm
Weight: 35 Kilogrammes
Eyes: Red
Hair: Black
Skin: Black
Force Sensitive: Yes, untrained and unknown to himself.
Strengths:
Jawa:
Beag was born with all the skills and attributes that the modern day Jawa is associated with. A penchant for scavenging, a knack for knocking things together until they work(barely), and a smell so pungent it's said to be a gift from the very heavens themselves.
Tough:
A life spent under the searing suns of Tatooine digging and hauling scrap will make a man resilient, not to mention a Jawa. If anyone was to forsake their eyes, and possibly their stomach, to peek beneath the robe of Beag you would find a creature built from sinew and muscle. Beag has been moulded by the desert seas that his kind roam, capable of enduring the hardships common to the Jawa way of life.
Wiley:
There's nothing that Beag loves more than getting the upper hand, especially through deceit. Deceit is an art that all good Jawas find themselves involved in at some stage or another, and to Beag there is nothing better than a good lie. There's nothing more satisfying than creating the perfect bluff, and Beag has always been a devotee of the art.
Weaknesses:
Garrulous:
Beag enjoys a good talk, often at the expense of others. Even more than that, Beag enjoys a good argument. Beag will often find himself arguing for arguments sake, becoming drawn into the topic at hand and taking an opposite view merely to enjoy himself. This can lead to some.....heated encounters.
Indifferent:
Beag cares not for you emotional troubles, and in fact, he doesn't care much for you physical ones either. Such thoughts pass quickly through the Jawas head, irrelevant in the greater scheme of things. Such problems quickly pale in significance to his own personal troubles. Being a capable liar, Beag attempts to hide his apparent selfishness to his community through his usual combination of hoodwinks, chicanery and skulduggery. Great words those, I don't use 'em half enough.
Greedy:
Beag is a greedy son of a sand dune. He doesn't necessarily care that it isn't very good, he cares that he doesn't have it. This can be applied to pretty much everything, shiny bits of metal, a nice seat at the table and that particularly snazzy ion blaster that you heard that two-bit pincher Gwibbe got his hands on. There's no saying what lengths Beag will go to to take what is, of course, rightfully his.
Appearance:
Before you stands a creature of a most unimpressive sort. Eyes of a baleful red glare out from beneath a hood shrouded in darkness, concealing his true features to the outside world. Hands fidget within the arms of his robe, constantly darting to and fro in search of something to grasp. A diminutive frame lies draped beneath a cloak the colour of dirt, while a stench so putrid and fetid surrounds him as if itself was a force to be reckoned with.
A Jawa, typical of his kind.
Equipment:
- Shabby brown robe
- Decrepit old ion blaster
- Ragged, and empty, chest bandoleer
- Suspiciously clean shard of sharpened metal
Biography: So Far...
Beag was born as all Jawa are, in search of something to steal.
Born in a Jawa camp swamped on all sides by the all encompassing Tatooine desert, Beag grew up the very picture of a normal Jawa, stealing droids, scavenging parts and swindling moisture farmers out of everything he could. Unjustly harassed by his elders due to his more selfish qualities, Beag was quite the anxious little Jawa in his younger years. Learning to fit in was an ongoing progress, and some clearly unemployed, nothing better to do old Jawas could often be heard remarking on Beags 'uppityiness' whenever a quiet moment could be found to persecute their younger, clearly inferior Jawa children. Nevertheless, despite the not quite unheard abuse, upon reaching adulthood Beag set out to crew a sandcrawler, combing the sandy sea for every valuable scrap that could be found under the leadership of his tribal chief.
Ever the obedient Jawa, Beag has been combing the desert seas for innumerable seasons now. Innumerable mostly due to the authors inability to choose a suitable number, but innumerable none the less. The nomadic Jawa life has become second nature to Beag, and his hands grown calloused and hard from the work the desert provides. The sandcrawler roams the territories, and Beag roams with it.
So it begins.
[WIP] Needs to be prettied up and all that.
