Bite the Bullet, Jalor Battle-group
Briefing Room

Kiyron glared at the paperwork, and sifted through the words again.
You are hereby directed and authorized to organize, recruit for, and activate a unit under the command of Special Operations, consisting of no more than a platoon, to specialize in reconnaissance and long-range neutralization ahead of the main forces.
There was more to the message, but that was the most important part. Or rather, that was what the entire message was for. He leaned back in the chair, taking in the drab walls of the compartment. How did he even start? He had no experience with this part, and wasn't this usually done by people of higher rank? Unless they would promote him later. He had no idea. Fortunately though, he could bring in a few people to work on it. He tapped the comm.
"Would [member="RC-1025"] and [member="Leea Pandac"] report to briefing room A34?"
He took out his datapad and opened up a new section of folders, labelled classified. There was work to do.

Leea had been strolling the area, though now she was moving quickly and determinately to the briefing room. She had memorized the hallways better now and was confident that she had chosen the best path. Soon she was outside the door of the briefing room. She looked herself over, checking to make sure her clothing was in order and her knife and blaster were at her side. Having satisfied her need for perfection, Leea Pandac opened the door and moved to the desk she saw [member="Kiyron "]at.

She gave a salute stating in her most serious tone, "Leea Pandac reporting for...duty?" Then losing her tone she continued, "Something wrong, Sir?"

He heard his name over the com. Where was A34? He just got here after all. He barely knew his name and who he was. However it didn't stop him from trying. He needed to do something, he can feel it in his bones. It's driving him crazy doing nothing. He wondered around for awhile, very lost but determined to reach his destination.

Bite the Bullet - A34
Kiyron shook his head, and gestured to a seat, "Not at all. I was reviewing your file, and it's mentioned in there you have skills in scouting. Would you say that is accurate?" He had to make sure it was before involving her in this, and her agreement to join. No need to make this more open than it might already be. He had another though, and buzzed for a mouse droid, and one rolled in a few moments. He bent down towards it, "Go find [member="RC-1025"] and lead him here."

[member="Leea Pandac"]

"Well... I spent a lot of time training myself to be a spy. Though that fell through... I later changed most of that to scout training. I have some professional training, though most of it is self-taught.....Yah I have some skills, to answer your question." Obviously this was a topic which she could spend many hours talking about, luckily she caught herself before she started monologuing. "If you don't mind me asking Sir, why do you ask?"

Kiyron nodded as she talked, and gave a small smile. Excellent. "No worry about the origin. I am also self-taught for the most part, and I asked because I am forming a unit specializing in reconnaissance and sniping. If you are willing, you would be the first recruit for the unit."

[member="Leea Pandac"]

Leea almost jumped with excitement, however she kept her cool and replied, "I would gladly accept this honor. Who would this unit report to? Are we part of the general army, or SIS?" She was very excited but she didn't let it make her lose her need for information.

Kiyron gave a small smile and nod. "I'm glad. Welcome to the unit, and neither, actually. We'll be under the Special Forces Command. As for right now, that's the only concrete information we have. I asked you to here to help flesh out the details with another perspective."

RC-1025 eventually was found by the mouse droid. He was confused at first but then he got the meaning and followed the droid to the room. There he found a man and a woman conversing. The clone marched in and stood at attention before the man behind the desk ( [member="Kiyron "]). He popped a salute and said, "Good day, sir. RC-1025 reporting as ordered."

He stood at attention waiting for orders.

Kiyron stood and returned [member="RC-1025"]'s salute, "Thank you for coming. Please, have a seat. We may here a while. As I was explaining to [member="Leea Pandac"], I have been commissioned to create a special forces platoon that specializes in reconnaissance and sniper tactics that will act as a precursor to main Republic forces. I am inviting you you to join, and asking for your help in creating this unit. Are you willing?"

As ordered, the clone took a seat and listened to what he had to say. He didn't know much of what he did before he woke up but he knew he was a Republic Commando and people have told him he has done similar things in the past. Sounded perfect. "Fighting for the Republic is what I was made for sir," he said.

It was true after all. He was a clone, it was his purpose. It was the reason why he existed in the first place. He is ready to do anything to get out in the field again. He was tired of all the medical tests they have been doing ever since he got here.

Kiyron nodded, and let out a long breath. This was complicated, to say the last, "Thank you." He paused, "How should I refer to you?" The full designation was much too long for him, and he didn't know his rank. "I have an official designation in here somewhere..." He started sifting through the files and nodded, "54th Reconnaissance. Boring, certainly, but accurate."

RC-1025 could see the dissatisfaction on his superior's face. "Uh...I don't know sir," he said, "I don't have a name." That wasn't entirely true. He was pretty sure he had one but like much of his past it was forgotten.

He stood there for a moment in awkward silence as he wasn't quite sure what to say next. Deciding to break the silence, he asked, "What is our first task, sir?"

Kiyron nodded, tapping the table quietly, "Understandable. Have you any idea of a name you might want?" He checked the datapads again, "I can offer you an officer's commission in the unit, given your experience, once your memory begins returning more." He gave a small shrug at the question, "Currently, our mission to recruit at least a squad of six and begin training here in the battle-group, to be ready for deployment to field training at the finish of the patrol."

RC-1025 looked around and couldn't help but notice that they were half the number the commander wanted. This might take a while. "I prefer to earn things sir. That goes with the commission and my name," he said, "Though I appreciate you thinking me worthy."

One thing the clone commando knew was that they were down three people for the six man group the commander was hoping for and he hated waiting around. "Perhaps we can do something with the group we have now?" he suggested.

[member="Kiyron "][member="Leea Pandac"]

Leea smiled at the suggestion made by [member="RC-1025"]. "A real odd-ball that one, he passes up the chance at instant officer commission." She thought to herself.
Then speaking aloud she said, "Well... I agree with RC-....5201 right?" She was trying to be a little playful, but then continued, "Just playing. I do agree with RC. Even if we aren't fully manned we should still be able to pull off some things."

Kiyron nodded slowly, "Understood. We'll see what happens then." He tapped the table again, letting out a long breath, and then rubbed his temples. "We could begin training now, to ensure that we have a core team from which to build on, and begin searching for candidates among Republic personnel."
