Been on my mind for a while..

Hey guys!! I just had a general question about characters.. I know I already have alot of characters now, but anyway. This has been on my mind for a while and I was wondering if I could use the name Jarrus for a last name. I know, I know. It's a canon name, but thinking that it could be popular at the time, but she'll have no relation to Kanan from Rebels. This is definitely not my intent to copy off another character. I will add in a disclaimer for the name saying that this character isn't related to another character, she's just a character.

I figured it'd be better to ask ahead of time before just making it and then getting into a huge brawl over it. I'd just been wanting to make a character for this OOC account so I figured I'd ask.

I've seen several canon surnames on Chaos before. I've always thought something like "It's a big galaxy; you're gonna run into a Skywalker, Solo, or Kenobi eventually."
Of course, that's just my observation. The top brass might say something completely different. May the force be with you.

A lot of people use canon last names here. There's nothing wrong with using one as long as it doesn't cause any problems.

You may use a canon last name.

However, doing so does not grant you any connection to a canon character, any special perks or abilities.

Ya off spring just get last name, but end up totally different from their parents. I find that to be a good thing though.

Considering we're 7-800 years after the latest Legends canon, the amount of people with a family name or claiming some descendants is astronomically high.
