Her dreams had been wild tangents of seeming random patterns. Unexplainable events, some threatening, others peaceful, with people she knew not; yet those were her best friends. Nothing made sense, and she followed it perfectly. Though, there was pain, and one other thing. A long, drawn out and slow motion blur of mechanical noises. Beeps, and every now and again something longer. A similar machine tone, though a fraction lower, and it lasted forever. Funny how real noises have a way of filtering themselves into one's dreams. Into the sleeping mind, where it manifests as something completely justifiable. She almost looked peaceful there, on the cot of a bed, extending from the wall and covering her with light restraints. Nothing overly oppressive, just two white bars which were actually used during medical procedures. The mechanism responsible for lifting them was in easy reach and only required the pressing of a single, white button which didn't rise about the flat surface.

When she did wake up, it was a slow process, arms moving from under the cheap green blanket and making folds in the fabric. There was no noise, not even when she remembered where she must be. She just nodded to herself, and closed her eyes again. Her eyes were red around the edges, a product of her previous injuries. She noticed a few monitors begin to pulse with far greater activity, and figured they must be brain measurements, noting now that she was awake and conscious. There was someone else there, and it took her a few moments to realized exactly who it must be, though she made no visible signs of fear of anxiety. For the moment, she was just surprised to be awake, and adjusting to what it felt like. It had taken her a full day to regain consciousness, or at least a good large chunk. When she used her voice, it was clear she had not done so in awhile. It sounded dry, and almost cracked, weak and full of whisper.

"Wha--" But she cleared her throat, and started again.
"What did you... tell... them...?"

Seated in the room where Xenia laid was Gabriel. He figured he should stick around to protect her considering she looked like she was being hunted down by someone the previous night, and she hadn't left the planet yet so there could still be people out. Thankfully he'd be there to stop them. This time though she would finally get a glimpse of the man who removed her from the hostile situation in the flesh, rather than as the faceless man. As thankfully, he did have a face. He had swept-up hair light facial hair and was dressed in his usual black leather jacket and combat boots.

The hospital was well guarded the night of the shootout, he had decided to visit early morning to wait until she had woken up. And as he took a quick glance up from his datapad, she was. She looked really worse for wear but after a frankly rather grim arm injury he didn't expect anything less, especially after having received a stun of that magnitude. He had been in that position and felt sympathetic towards the hazel-haired sleeping beauty.

He did think though, she panicked and lost her cool that night and it made him wonder if bounty hunting was something someone so regal looking should be investing their time into, he thought not. But it was her choice and if she was going to stick by it there was nothing he could do about it and he knew it.

"Heeeeey." He greeted her gently and quietly with a slightly relieved smile. "Rise and shine." making sure he didn't speak too loudly as she had just regained consciousness and probably felt incredibly groggy as such. He moved off the chair he was sitting on and decided to sit on the one next to her bed. "Oh. I told the doctor I pulled you out of a collapsed building. He bought it so here I am." He smirked, spreading out his arms slightly in an "I'm here" gesture.

"How are you feeling?"

Even after a few blinks, she was unable to recognize the man sitting at the other edge of the room. He was handsome, and looked at her as if he was a familiar. So this is what the masked man looked like, under the mask. She didn't smile, or even change her face at all, just looked around at the room. Two cameras, one at either corner of the room. One entrance, out of direct view, obscured by a hanging curtain at the room's center. In front of the curtain wall were chairs, upon which Gabriel sat now. And when he spoke, she felt a bit more safe. It was a smooth voice, low with the vibration of manhood. But she ignored his question, avoiding making eye contact with the cameras and pretending as if they weren't there. Under her breath, she whispered at a volume which would be hard even for the man to hear. "Don't look into the cameras, do as I do." The look in her eyes was not asking, it was commanding. This was her identity on the line; she could not be seen with a more than likely recorded criminal. It would cause too many questions among her political peers, questions she simply couldn't answer.

"Are you-- Oh my gosh! Sir, are you the one who pulled me out of that--"

Her voice had raised again, cracking as she acted something seemingly alien. As if she had no idea of the man's origin, or even who he was. As if the story had been true, and all she knew was that he had pulled her from the building. Those cameras could potentially hurt or harm her a great deal at the moment, and it was her requirement to make sure she wasn't crippled because of her fatal mistakes. Again, she whispered, quickly after she had finished speaking. "You don't know me. Polite." This was the game she was forced to play at the cost of her double identity. She had to sell not one, but two lies. She would let him make whatever response he made, and promptly shot back another whispered response, "you have a name?"

Gabriel decided to also take a look around the room, cameras. He didn't really see what she was getting so flustered about. Most of the hospital crew didn't care what section their patients came from as long as they had the money for their injuries. She had something to hide with her identity. That was certain, or at least that's what he figured after seeing how she suddenly changed temperament to fit in with the lie he told the medical team earlier on.

He figured he had to do the same now, he didn't think that anyone would be paying that much attention to the security cameras to actually try and compromise their identities but the risk was there. He nodded after she asked him to start acting and fast. "That building? Yeah it was me. You're lucky I found ya. he spoke half-faking, lying almost second nature for him with no telltale signs of his fibbery.

"Yeah, obviously." He smirked, trying to find some humor in a very basic question. "It's Gabriel." He whispered back to her, introducing himself to the girl he saved only the night before.

Gabriel was well known as a mercenary, and as one of the finest due to his experience having taken up the profession since his adolescent years and the name was familiar to a lot of police departments on various planets, but they then decided to cease pursuing him and instead merely watching him once he became a CEO of a weapons company. But he was back in the drivers seat in bounty hunting and in truth he missed it, being behind a desk was nowhere near as fun.

"So, I assume you wanna get out of here huh." He whispered to her, referring to the man hunting her down at the time.

She just fell back into the stale pillow behind her head. Her eyes glared at the cameras as the man proved himself smarter than the average lot, picking up on her urgency and following her through the motions. His voice was convincing enough, and the distortion from the cheap looking audio receptors would make it even more believable when played back. She let a long breath draw from her lungs, releasing it into the artificial smelling air of the white and boring hospital. She had no intention of leaping back into action, and for once, the hospital sounded like a refreshing option. Of course, whoever this Gabriel was, he was right. It would be wise for her to leave, get off world, leave this place far behind in order to avoid another tussle with the stalking bounty hunter on her tail. Though, at the same time, leaving now could mean dissolving whatever protection she had.

"That camera, the one on the left," she whispered.
"Put... this... right under the belly."

As she spoke, her fingers pulled something from-- from inside her mouth? A tiny chip, white, and made to literally carry in between her back molars. It was as sanitary as one could expect, and she held her hand out towards the man, her instructions clear enough. It was a personal circuit that she had designed, a tiny microchip which allowed her shut off electronic frequencies on smaller and more primitive tech; this would certainly qualify as one such occasion. It would appear to have merely faded out of reception on natural causes, and would more than likely be replaced in one of the following days, and by then she would be long gone from here. Almost as soon as she finished speaking in hushed whispers, her voice raised, again in psuedo tone, faking the shock of, well, everything.

"Wha-- what happened? I was... I was..."

But her face contorted a bit, at the perfect angle for the camera to see her well trained face wash through the motions of a female struggling to regain her memory. She had ignored his questions, anything and everything he said. She couldn't take the risk of anyone finding out about what she had really been doing on Coruscant. It would ruin her, and tear her career to the ground. Officially, she had been here on charity purposes, making various appearances at gatherings and meant to give motivational speeches about fighting violence in the streets; as well as other, perhaps more boring speak of legislature and previously passed bills of law. Though, after the fake voice sounded, she repeated herself in whisper, this time asking for the real story, though she would let him finish whatever fake response he had to offer before she asked again.

"What... actually happened-- and thank you, I think..."

He still felt rather skeptical about all of this. He saw that she urgently wanted to get out of here, and he was sure that wherever this Kail was, he'd be hot on her tail. And by the looks of things she seemed to already have some form of plan considering she was insisting they stay in character throughout the entire time they were in this hospital room. He also had to think of a way to get her off this planet stealthily and easily. In fairness he could always call Siero to find him a different ship and he could take her back to where she needed to be himself, which was most likely the safest option.

If they were trying to get out, this would definitely be his first time breaking someone out of a hospital and not a prison. It all seemed rather unnecessarily intense, this was a hospital and not a maximum security jail, she obviously had something she wanted to protect and he imagined it was her identity, was she famous? He couldn't tell, but he'd definitely enquire more after this whole fiasco blew over.

In the meantime he examined this strange thing he was given, wet and glistening from having been inside this woman's mouth the whole time, nice. But he knew that he kinda had to do it, he made his way towards the camera, making sure not to look directly into any of them so as not to be recognized on playback. "Yeah, there was a fire on the floor below you, absolutely trashed their ceiling and you basically clattered into the downstairs living room." He lied, being as precise as he could about a nonexistant event. "I got you out before you got grilled or anything. You landed hard on your arm and broke it though." He continued, finally placing the little device under the camera, he couldn't quite tell what it did but he imagined it was something to disable it, in any case he stayed alert in case she required his aid once more.

Almost before Gabriel finished speaking, the door at the other end of the room slid open and inbound were two young, male doctors. A rather intimidating medical droid buzzed as it moved in their wake. "Ahh, you're awake, miss Nastassia." Another man entered the room. She recognized the voice, and almost rolled her eyes, but there was a smile there as well. Garett, one of the local politicians and business owners. Someone with enough pull to get into her room and withdraw her subtly. Xenia groaned, flashing a glance to the new crowd gathering at the foot of her bed. She was shy to the doctor's looks at the bounty hunter present. At least they were just doctors, chances were they didn't know the man, and wouldn't ever know the man as anything criminal. Just another man. Her possessions were returned, and she arranged her transfer to Naboo. For what it was worth, this hunter had been of much use. When she left, she'd drop a com-unit in his lap, her hand sliding over his shoulder in an alluring way. A wink, and she pushed past him, following this Garett to her transport off world.
