Planetary submission wasn’t as easy as it seemed. To subdue a population to your will, to fill their minds with happy thoughts and keep them at bay from rebellious thinking was quite a task. Conquer a planet, rally the remaining population against a common foe, rebuild, extract their precious resources, occupy and bent them all. The plan was to give the people of JanFathal something to hope for and the Coliseum was built just for that purpose, as their warriors clashed in the arena the population would forget all about their lives and focus on something more. But finding those so-called warriors was as difficult as if she fought by herself, so Lunafreya promoted a Gamemaster, one person to select her champions for the arena as thing moved on.
The right course was, off course, for investors to bring their champions to die around her walls but the Third Imperial-Sith War was scaring them away. At least for now, soon the trust of the investors would return and she would bathe on their credits.
“Gamemaster. Don’t get up from your seat, I’m here merely to watch.”, the gamemaster nodded to his grace, that reptile orange creature was selecting champions in the arena. Two gladiators went in, fought for a bit and only one got out, without that delicious thrill of killing.
“It isss… a simple match now, Your Grace. Nothing worth your while.”, still she sat down in one of the seats on that box. Looking as the speaker called out a huge gamorrean warrior, a real beast made entirely of muscles and fat, carrying one of those huge vibroaxes the species was famous for carrying.
“Carry on, Gamemaster and do not despair. My intentions in here are but my own.”, the reptile creature decided to go back on his work, and by her back Sor Riordain and Sor Aelirenn stood watch, silent and dressed in those garnet armors of theirs, to watch over their mistress. Lunafreya focused her two violet eyes on the arena, sharp as always they were, but this time they weren't looking for blood, they were searching for something else, a feeling inside of her was agitated, almost as if she was sure something was about to happen.
