Beginning of a New Day (PM for invite/Ordo)

Tatooine a sun dune of a planet, barren yet harsh. Lilly shook her head as she exited the transport ship, she hated coming here. Sand always got into everything, and she usually spent days cleaning it out. Her mentor Da'jax had sent her here, to learn to do thing on her own. Get her own start in bounty hunting, and maybe make a name for herself. Without Da'jax she doesn't know what would have happened to her.
The sun beat down on her exposed arms and neck, the wind blew up sand and she closed her eyes and cursed. She quickly walked away from the ship to the nearest Cantina she could find. Entering she felt the air cool only slightly, she went to the bar and ordered a drink. She paid for it before heading into a dark corner to sit down. She need time to think, plan out what she was going to do, how she was going to do it. She didn't have the slightly idea where to start. She took a sip of her drink and her mind drift a little.

EARLIER THAT MORNING:

The roar could be heard for miles as the massive form of the Greater Krayt Dragon stared the comparatively tiny man in the face. Massive jaws slammed shut as the man stood facing the beast. The man reached back with an armored hand and delivered a force imbued punch to the tip of the dragon's snout. The dragon pulled it's head back and wiggled it's nose for a moment before it decided the little morsal needed to be killed. The dragon opened it's mouth and brought it crashing toward the man who tried and failed to get out of the way. The huge jaws closed around the black armored man and the dragon dove into the sand.

The stench inside the beast mouth would have been enough to knock out some. It smelled of decayed meat and whatever else the 100 meter monster had eaten. The man who was simply know as Ordo grabbed on to the beast tongue with both hands and held on for minutes or more as the beast did it's best to swallow him.

'Kashink' His gauntlet vibro blade extended from its sheath as the tongue slapped Ordo against the roof of the beast mouth. The beast resurfaced from the sand and opened it's mouth to chew Ordo. Ordo saw his chance and stood using the force he fed his muscles extra strength and pushed to hold the jaws open. The dragon thrashed its head to try and dislodge the heavily armored Mandalorian Field Marshall but to no avail. Quickly Ordo aimed his flamethrower gauntlet into the beast's throat and fired. The flames began scotching the back of the creatures mouth and illicited a garbbled shriek so loud that it would have rivaled a sonoc emitter for strength. The beast jaws slammed shut as it shook and lashed it's tail. Finally worried Ordo grabbed a tooth and his Mandalorian Ripper and began firing toward the brain. Green flashes of light could be seen from the beast mouth as Ordo fired his full clip into the monsters head. The ten legged creature stumbled to the left and fell against the dunes as smoke trailed from it's mouth. The big Mandalorian fell out and rolled across the sand. Disoriented for a moment he stood and looked around for the creature before finally seeing it. He pulled out his light saber and ignited the burnished Orange blade. Quickly he opened the beast and pulled out a pearl the size of a man's head. He continued slicing the beast from neck to genitals and pulled out the stomach. He cut open the huge leathery sack and out spilled several items of interest. Gaderffii sticks, a Jawa Ion rifle, an M1-A1 astromech and Ordo's Jetpack. Taking all Ordo carried the items to his speeder truck set a small beakon and loaded the droid into the back of the speeder truck.

PRESENT...

Ordo walked into the bar with a krayt dragon pearl the size of a man's head and sat down at the bar as people starred. He took off his helmet to reveal his heavily scarred face and military cut brown hair. He looked at the Barkeep and nodded.

"Something strong and not watered down." Ordo said as he sat. It had been a rough Morning but it was fun just the same.

Reine was on tatooine for a very specific item. A krayt dragon pearl. It was probably the only thing that could pull her to the miserable, dusty, fetid excuse for a planet.

Unfortunately, the pearls were hard to come by. That is, unless you spoke Tusken or could find the big lizards.

The Miraluka spent the better part of the day searching stalls, shops, bounty offices, and the few Hunter guilds in the area with no luck.

So for now, until a better opportunity arose, she sat in a local bar with a glass of sour wine before her mulling over where to go next.

Ordo

Lilly's eyes perked up when she saw an armored man walk into the bar, carrying a pearl the size of maybe a human head if she had to guess. Her eyes studied him as he walked. She downed her drink just after the man sat down, and removed his helmet. He didn't look all that old. She stood up and walked up to the bar right beside him. She first ordered herself another drink, before turning her head slightly.

"Nice pearl, where did ya get?"

She knew of stories of Kyrat dragons that had pearls hidden within there bodies, yet she also knew they were tough as nails. Only a crazy person would dare cash after the dragon. Then again there was a lot of crazy people it seemed on this forsaken sand dune planet.

Ordo accepted the glass and rested a hand on the pearl. It had been burried in the beast and had he a mind for it he would takw it to a tusken colony and be called a hero. However, Mandalorians didn't have a word for hero and Ordo didn't have a mind to be one. He looked over at the girl as she approached and noticed the tattoos on her arm. He smiled as she asked where he got the pearl and rolled it into his hand and held it up.

"This lil'old thing?" He said joking, "I pulled this out of the gizzard of a greater Krayt dragon."

Several patrons looked over as he spoke. A few cocked eyebrows and others nodded approval. Ordo would probably sell the thing if he got a good offer.

"I killed it my self the body is out side right now. It took two speeders to drag it this far." He said looking at the Girl's tattoos again. "They call me Ordo, and you are?"

At the warriors claims, Reine turned around and stared as she could for having no eyes.

"You pulled a pearl out of a Greater Krayt Dragon?" she asked incredulously, her wine now forgotten. "How? When? How are you not dead?"

It wasn't that she doubted the man's prowess in combat, but that there were so, so very few that could even boast surviving an encounter with a Greater Krayt Dragon, much less kill one and walk of with the pearls from its belly.

Lilly looked over at Ordo and followed his eyes. Her left hand covered her right upper arm without really thinking about it. She smiled a little, she nodded before she spoke.

'Oh! Me! I'm nobody really, I.. I just saw the pearl. I had to see it up close... sorry if I bothered you."

Her defense were up, she kept her left hand over her tattoo as she turned away. He was in her mind she thinks the second person to really take an interest in it. That bothered her, lots of people had them. Yet her tattoo on her right arm by her shoulder always drew eyes. She didn't understand why. It was something in a picture of her grandfather she saw. It was her link to him, she had such vague memories of him as well. As she turned away, she wondered if she had been wise to come up and talk to this man.

Ordo watched the girl as she hid her tattoo. It made sense she was young and it probably meant something to her. He looked at the first woman the blind(?) one.

"I should be dead." He said plainly, "The blasted thing had me in its mouth when it finally died."

He stopped the other girl, the one with the Krayt tattoo.

"Why don't you grab a seat kid and I'll tell you about the Krayt I pulled this beauty from." he said holding up the pearl.

Reine stood up then, realizing she had an opportunity at hand. The search may possibly be over. Her task done and the plan one step closer to completion.

"I'll buy it from you. How much?" she asked, coming near the man's table.

She stopped and looked over Ordo again, her eyes were thoughtful. She had a feeling to stay might be good, yet bad at the same time. Yet no harm would come of staying, and listening to a good tale.

Her ears caught what was said by the other girl, she could almost hear the eagerness for the pearl. Made her slightly wonder why, she understood how rare a pearl was. Yet maybe she was over thinking again, she sat down and nodded to Ordo to show she was sticking around.
