Ben was born on Corellia to a military family, it was always expected of him to join up himself when he became of age. Most of his life was spent moving from place to place, going wherever his parents were called to. When he became of age, of course followed in his parents footsteps, believing that he could really make a difference and joined the Corellian Confederation.
