The Mandalorians of Besh have carried the way of their people for over 850 years without access to the fabled Beskar of their ancient homeland. To these people, the Dar'tome Mando'ade, Mandalorian Combat Armor has long been the staple of their kind. Lighter and more flexible than the Mandalorian Battle Armor that the Skyriver Mandalorians re-introduced in recent years, Mandalorian Combat Armor utilizes complex composite materials and energy shielding to provide protection to the wearer. Even now, after the Dem'adas Mando'ade have taught the Dar'tome the ways that their cousins in the Skyriver work metal, the Tof and Nagai Mandalorians of Besh (that make up the bulk of the Dar'tome Mando'ade) prefer the style of light armor that their fathers and grandfathers wore.
