MUUNILINST | BRAXANT RUN | IMP500 STOCK EXCHANGE

Founded in the later stages of the Sith Empire occupation over Harnaidan and Muunilinst, the IMP500 has been one of the prominent stock exchange indexes currently in operation on the Galactic Market, acting as the primary trading hub for all worlds previously under the jurisdiction of the New Imperial Order and the surrounding populations.

Although since the fall of the Empire prior to 900 ABY, the Stock Exchange has been
partially integrated into the wider Trade Federation of Planets in order to regain some of the lost investments made into the New Imperial Order during their rebellion against Darth Carnifex's Sith Empire.

Rumors are circulating from Muunilinst about a substantial amount of
Imperial Beskar being stored in the treasure vaults of Director Rulonom Laborr, hidden deep within the Stock Exchange and guarded by advanced battle droids and security drones.

To verify the authenticity of the rumor, the Mandalorian Protectors apprehended a Rodian Defector who had ties with the Trade Federation. Engaging in intense negotiations for an hour, the Protectors managed to extract valuable information from the Rodian, who was desperate to secure their freedom from captivity.

Assembling a small strike team to
infiltrate the maximum security facility in order to free the beskar buried deep within.

Muunilinst
Harnaidan Port - Near the IMP500

The bulk transport the Mandalorian Protectors had chartered was huge. That was its only selling point, it was smelly, it was slow, and it was old. But it served to conceal their strike force adequately enough to get them into Harnaidan on Muunilinst relatively well. Arla had studied the target as much as she could. It would have been impossible with the New Imperial Order still ruling the region. It was honestly probably still impossible, but Mandalorians liked to buck the odds.

They would be attempting to not only get inside one of the most heavily guarded and well protected locations in the galaxy, but then get out again with their loot. For anyone else, this mission would have been suicide. But not for those who followed the lead of their Mand'alor Ijaat Mereel Ijaat Mereel and not for Arla of Clan Rodarch. She wanted the beskar back for her people. A cause worth fighting for, worth killing for, worth dying for.

No one, and certainly not Arla, could possibly pull off a heist such as this alone. She needed help, a lot of it, and that was why she'd engaged the biggest transport they could find. Stealth and guile were valuable strategies, of course, but sometimes, a quick and devastating surprise attack was the better option. The thought process was that no matter how clever, sneaky, and manipulative they were; sooner or later they would have to fight. So, Arla planned nothing less than a brute force assault.

Behind her, packing the landing bay were dropships, fighters, tanks, battle droids, and Mandalorian Protectors. If they failed, it would not be for want of firepower, this she had vowed. It was going to be a smash and grab operation. First, the smash. As soon as this giant flying box of a ship finished landing...

Shev did a weapons check in the drop bay of the transport. While being a fighter pilot was where his main comfort zone was he had been seeing far more ground action lately. He had become used to and making sure he had his osik in order before all his carefully laid plans ultimately went to pot and he would have to improvise.

He checked his carbine and beskad. Made sure his detonation charges and cords were quick access. EMP grenades were close beside his extra ammunition for quick response. He even cycled through his HUD to make sure vision modes were all operational. This was important to Shev. This mission to reclaim stolen beskar mattered. He had complained about the zombies and the hydras and those stupid mole things, but this...this was sacred. It made him almost miss his covert on Contruum.

"You have a strap hanging." He said calmly, all business as he walked across to one of the many Mandalorians he didn't know and fixed the harness strap that would quick release their kit, "There. We have to stay tight. This is the way."

His attention to detail in preparing his equipment shows how seriously he takes his mission. Especially when it comes to bringing Besker back, his internal conflict in balancing his career as a fighter pilot with ground combat adds a nice layer to his character. This mission was obviously his personal mission. More than the previous chaotic battles. Creates real tension and stakes!
