- Force Null: Tal'kar provides a near impregnable defense against telepathic abilities in the force.
- Pure Beskar: Purified Beskar exterior plates allow the armor to withstand an intense onslaught of Plasma-based and ballistic weapons alike, bolstered by inertial compensating technology to reduce the impact of kinetic impact and compensate high G-force maneuvers.
- Neural Slave: Wirelessly linked to a BH-NL Gen 3 Neural-link control chip, the user is able to control the entire suit with just a thought.
- Ionic Susceptible: Ion & EMP exposure may briefly disable the electronics in-part or in-whole, while Ionic exposure to the helmet may also nullify protection from telepathy based force powers due to the properties of Tal'kar.
- Over-shock: Exposure to intense electrical currents may overload and disable or damage internal components.
- Heavy Weight: Heavily armored construction may hinder the user during physical activities such as unassisted swimming or balancing.
Tae'l had her armored reforged and replaced when captured by the Sith known as Omon Kaa, who claimed her helm as a trophy. In a peculiar twist of fate, the two to an agreement and she was released into Sith Order space. Through her own skills and the Sith's connections, she was able to locate "Gravemind", A Death Watch loyalist who had once served her mother's nemesis- Apollyon the Betrayer- before her defeat. Impressed by the many Death Watch Commandos slain by Tae'l during her service to House Vizsla, Gravemind made a deal: In exchange for reforging the armor, she would become a student amongst the Death Watch.
Tae'l reluctantly agreed, and studied among them, for a time.
In the end however, she deserted them and took to a life of bounty hunting, hiding from the shame until she was redeemed in the Living Waters of Mandalore.
