Name: Beskar'yaim Island

Intent: A forge complex for Ijaat's personal operations and eventual small custom arms and armor business.
Classification: Volcanic Island (eventually to be a Mining/Forge Complex in/on it)
Location: Mandalore, somewhere off the coast of the main continent on the site of a dormant mid-size volcano/island.
Affiliation: It's technically in Mandalorian space, but owned by no one. Ijaat will be building on it and 'owning' it eventually
Description: A large forge complex with all the amenities a master beskar smith could want, settle inside the hollow shell of a volcano. The volcano itself is on an island several klicks off the space of the main continent where Keldabe lays. It is also on a minor, but very rich and pure vein of beskar, which Ijaat mines and smelts sparingly for only his most special projects, otherwise outsourcing his beskar and other ores.
The island is able to sustain life through a small smattering of huntable game and primarily rich fishing and naturally edible plants. There are a few small drinkable springs, and of course being tropical in nature, lots of rain to filter and drink water from. But to keep life comfortable, much food stuffs and water would need to be imported if Ijaat housed more than him and a staff of 5-10 people on the Island.
The place is relying on being almost completely invisible from the outside world with minimal above ground structures, and functions off thermal and steam power from the volcano it is housed above. Overall, it is a nearly fully independent complex so long as minimal inhabitant numbers are kept close to target occupancy.
Facilities include: Forges, grinders, bellows, smelters, polish room. Everything you need to make a smithing product from beginning to end. It is set up extremely utilitarian like for the work space. Clean slate grey walls with gunmetal colored metal components and, surprisingly for a forge, meticulously kept clean and VERY organized. Living areas and the like are done in a Japanese style motif. There is a small clearing which can open up to reveal a subterranean hangar that can house up to five ships of starfighter/shuttle size on the eastern side of the valley.
There are separate rooms set aside for every function, including, but not really limited to the following(total takes up about 1/3 or less of the islands usable space):
History: Fresh built by Ijaat, upon discovery of the beskar vein near the volcano after using it for a meeting place with a new face or two. There is little history to it at all really. Primarily based off a small cave complex routed by old magma chambers, Ijaat used contacts with various fellow business minded Mando'ade and vode in the Protectors he knew and trusted to keep the location secret to borrow equipment and minimal crews to expand the complex and flesh it out to fit his designs.
To keep the locale secreted, excepting his trusted friends, crews were flown in with no knowledge of their destination and in windowless compartments to avoid being able to see, and other precautions taken against trackers and the like. As a thank you for their aid, the Protectors were given the deed to Ijaat's former cantina, The Mad Strill, in Keldabe, to use as a off-duty bar for their members (much like a 'cop bar' in the US in modern times). Several bunks were also promised to always be open should the Protectors need time to train, repair, regroup, or just idle their ease in the lush island atmosphere. Though no military defenses or bunker like complexes were built, as Ijaat did not want to live his life in a fortress.

- *Forging (hammers... tongs... bellows... each forge is powered by heat and such from channeled magma from the heart of the volcano for it's fire)
- *Forge-welding and pattern-welding (special furnaces and such)
- *Polishing and sharpening rooms (lots of stones, belt grinders, polishing cloths, etc..)
- * Hilt and scabbard making rooms (lots of woodworking equipment)
- *Practice and testing rooms (a small room with pells and quintains and practice cutting mats, think Japanese kenjutsu dojo)
- *Armory to hold and display finished pieces (lots of locked cases and lockers with weapons inside)
- *Small suite of spartan sleeping rooms, with a slightly larger and more comfortable room for Ijaat, and an office to meet clients in.)
- *Quenching tank rooms powered by a super coolant variety of liquid nitrogen or some other similarly dangerous compound to super-cool the blades whenbeing quenched.
- *Tempering facilities combining technology from the forges Ijaat designed and the Quenching System to help manipulate the metals to be the perfect balance of toughness and hardness they need.
- *Other small rooms for things that might need to be done for the creation of weapons, including a small room set aside to blaster creation, though the resources here would only allow for personal one- offs and not mass production.
- *Smelting facilities for refining ores and creating alloys(pretty self explaatory... smelters, hydraulic presses, casting equipment, etc...)
