The small shuttle exited hyperspace at the edge of the Kriselist system, coming to a full stop as Daelil reached forward to shutdown the main engines to give them time to recharge. He had to snap his hand back as a series of sparks erupted across the console in front of him, and the lights of the shuttle began to flicker as he let out a muted curse. Reaching forward, he grimaced against the pain of the sparks as he deactivated main power to the console, in effect killing any potential of him being able to pilot the ship till he brought it back online. Leaning back in the pilots seat, Daelil let out a small little laugh as he pushed himself to his feet. "Last time I ever build a ship myself..."
At the time, building a shuttle of his own seemed like the best idea for his plans. He had been rescued from his servitude at the Fondor shipyards by Jedi several months ago, and had even become a pupil to one of the orders. His training had only just begun to be entirely honest, and he had far to go before he could truly call himself even a minor Jedi. Still, when he had begun to hear reports of the Jedi resistance and the plight of the rebels facing the Eternal Empire, Daelil had been moved to action. He had been forbidden to travel with an official shuttle to the Unknown Regions of the galaxy, to limit any potential of sparking a confrontation. To get around that rather simple restriction, Daelil had built his own shuttle. It was not the best in the galaxy, but it had gotten him this far.
He had used the Corellian Trade Spine to move through the Core and Colonies region, making only quick stops to refuel and gather supplies for his journey. Now, he intended to turn and use the Sanctuary Pipeline to head towards Eternal Empire space, and hopefully find these rebels. He did not know what he would do when he actually did, he had not actually gotten that far in his planning. He was certain the Force would let him know when he got there. But, before that, he had to get the shuttle working again. Opening a small hatch on the side of the shuttles cargo bay, Daelil began to inspect the internal circuity of the craft, trying to track down the most recent malfunction.
