Best Way to Quote And Get Code?

How do I get the code of a post by quoting it? I’ve been using the “reply” button but when I paste it pastes as a quote and won’t let me remove the quoted persons name.

Is it just because I’m trying to do mobile or is there a better way?

See it won’t let me remove the Kitter Bitters part and just have the post

First, once you hit quote, you need to use the lower left 'insert quote' button. Then, you have to hit the [ ] to toggle BB code, then you should see something like:

[QUOTE="Kitter Bitters, post: 2047592, member: 21206"]
See it won’t let me remove the Kitter Bitters part and just have the post
[/QUOTE]

Remove the quote sections, copy the code, and you have the previous post.

Its also handy for being lazy and retrieving your previous post info in a thread. What I do anymore in a thread if I am using different equipment between threads rather than picking through removing and adding things. Handy for mobile posting.
