- Description: The Bewachen serve to protect and defend the Chancellors from any harm. A small unit, they are the best of the best, hand picked from the units of the Executor troopers, who are already a advanced combat unit. Like other guard units, they are never deployed on a battlefield unless specifically directed by either of the chancellors. Based on Schesa, they accompany the chancellors wherever they go. Along with their duties to protect the chancellors, they are also tasked with protecting and patrolling the several compounds of Zweihander Installations on Schesa. All members of the Bewachen have security clearances to all Schesa installations, and are superior in rank to all other Zweihander Union military personnel. The Bewachen are completely loyal to the Zweihander and answer only to the chancellors.

- Always serving together, the members of the Bewachen see each other as brothers and sisters in arms. Brainwashed with Zweihander values and principles, the Bewachen live to protect the chancellors and uphold the values of the Zweihander Union. With little to no personal life and almost no family, their primary focus is the Zweihander Union. When fighting alongside regular infantry or other personnel, they have the authority to command other units.
- Elite - Largely debated as the most experienced and trained combat unit in the Zweihander Union, the Bewachen are highly trained soldiers and protectors. Rumors say that not a single member of the Bewachen has ever fallen in combat.
- Sacred Oath - Bound by an oath, members of the Bewachen would protect the chancellors and the ideals of the Zweihander Union with their lives. Never in the history of the Zweihander Union, has a member of the Bewachen betrayed the Union or broken his oath.
- Numbers - One of the smallest and unique units of the Zweihander Union, the Bewachen can be easily overwhelmed.
- Unique - The Bewachen are comprised of the best soldiers in the Zweihander Union. Therefore, there are far less recruits taken in then any other combat unit or branch, and soldiers with the required skills are not easy to find or replace.
Formed not long after the battle for Schesa, both chancellors agreed there needed to be a program for a small, unique combat unit that would not only uphold and defend the values of the Zweihander Union, but they would also protect the chancellors with their lives. With their approval, the newly formed Intelligence and Security Bureau were tasked with selecting elite soldiers from the ranks of the common troopers corps and Executor troopers.
