Location: Duros, Orbiting city
Naivia Neryn
Duros. A toxic planet, with orbiting satellite cities, filled with people. And with so many people in such a centralized area made it the perfect place to collect hosts easily... It was almost too easy, there were just so many options of hosts to choose from! It was practically a feast.
In a small alleyway, a human male sat up, sitting on the ground. On the human's face was a mask, like those in operas and plays. The man looked around, searching his surroundings, then looked at his own body, examining himself, observing his own body. Then, he stood up off the ground, getting to his feet. At first he seemed a bit unsteady, but once he got used to his own body he became a lot more steady. No one could guess what was going on behind that mask...
Possession stretched the arms of his host, feeling as the arms extended out, feeling the limbs reach out. He couldn't ask for a human in better condition. This host would do, for now at least. Hopefully it would last long enough. For weeks, he had been trapped here since his previous host had decayed and become useless. For now, he had remained here, but soon he would most likely leave, but not before looking around a bit.
Possession walked his host out of the alleyway, walking down the street. He looked around. It had been a while since he had this freedom of movement. He looked around, observing the buildings around him. Of course, he wasn't just here for sightseeing. There was another reason why he was here in this place in particular... He was looking for something important, something that called out to him, beckoning him. As he continued walking down the street, he got multiple strange looks because of the mask, but Possession paid them no mind. Organics could never understand what truly happened in their galaxy. Things far bigger and more complex than them and their tiny, insignificant lives...
Possession stopped his host in front of a cantina. Just from the look of it, he could tell that it reeked of alcohol, cheap food, and the stench of drunks. Usually Possession didn't go into places like this, since he didn't need to eat or drink, but there was something else here... Possession could feel it, the secrecy, the mystique, the hidden away part, the call. Most mortals wouldn't be able to sense this special part, but some might be able to. And Possession had to find it first. And with that hidden call, there was another thing that he sensed... Something powerful, something alive. He wanted to find this living thing with such a pull.
And so, he stepped forward, walking into the bar, searching for whatever it was that he was seeking. Something that was beyond the scale and comprehension of those who had it...
