Big Game, Big Risk, Big Reward

Location: Dathomir
Objective: Live Capture of two Rancors for the Beast Hunter Guild

The ‘Bloodhound’, a Maka-Eekai L4000 Transport, broke ATMO above the planet Dathomir. The Captain of the ship was no other then the infamous hunter known as Urrossk. He was sent to this obscure planet by the beast hunter’s guild on contract to hunt and live capture two rancors. The job was no easy task to be taken lightly but for the trandoshan it was more than just collecting on the forty thousand credit bounty. It was appeasing the Scorekeepr, the trandoshan goddess, with as many Jagannath points he could collect and hunting Rancors was mega points. Though Live captures don’t count, nothing said that after he caught his two live beasts he couldn’t take a detour for a ‘real’ hunt.

Urrossk would not land right away, he would make a fly over using his sensors to pick up possible signatures of Rancors, due to their size they would be hard to pick up and filter through the sensors themselves with the right calculations and parameters were put in. Finding a cluster around the frenzied river area looked promising……. And challenging for the Trandoshan would have to play in the backyard of the frenzied river clan. He hissed with joy and anticipation of the hunt and made preparations to land.

The bulky 'Bloodhoud' would find a nice open clearing to nest with the trandoshan aboard guiding her in smoothly with the steering yolk grasped with his dangerous three clawed hands. With a thud of her landing gears impacting upon ground, Urrossk would flip a few switched turning off the thrusters and engines. Then his big bulbous eyes would focus upon his data readout screen, flipping through check charts for the ship. Was always good practice to do pre flight checks and post flight checks. Especially for those that their ships are their homes, lively hood and about everything they hold dear. A trandoshan's love will always lay with the hunt but this ship would be a mistress to such a relationship for Urrossk, a mistress he treated well in his own right.

Once the post flight checks were down the trandoshan would make his way to the captain's quarters, port side exit of the cockpit and the center deck. The natural hunter would collect his gear and weapons for his upcoming hunt and make way out of his quarters and into cargo bay C.
The stench on-board was horrible to most sentients. Between drying Wookiee pelts, a rotting corpse on the skinning table, and Urrossk's own repellent scent, it was worse than a slaughterhouse on a sewage planet, but it was home to this predator of the galaxy.

He would then make his way to the turbo-lift that would take him to the lower deck and main cargo hold. His reptilian eyes was full upon two large carbonite containers that he had borrowed for this mission. They would be use to hold his prey, safely and securely for transportation. That part of the logistics was easy, It was the hunting the grand beast in its own habitat that was going to be the challenge. Urrossk gave a toothy grin to himself, his clawed hand nestled against his favorite rifle, the Tusken Cycler. It was an old rifle, reliable and durable in most environmental conditions. It has been a weapon of choice for this hunter for many years and has yet to let this Trandoshan down.
