Bio:
Solar Larec Tyveriate, whose odd name holds a funny story, was born around forty years ago on Corellia. Solar is the son to successful financial guru, Lord Kadeth Tyveriate and Engineering Professor, Tasha Tyveriate. Solar, or better known as Sol for short, grew up with a strong interest in engineering and space travel wishing to become a famous ship designer. Despite this natural talent for technical knowledge and piloting, he never achieved his dreams due to lack of focus in his schooling.
The Corellian is far from a "formal" type with his often messy hair, stubble beard and casual spacer attire. Tyveriate later planned on becoming a freighter pilot and work the space trade lines for a merchant company. This decision eventually caused a great strife between himself and his parents who wanted him to try his schooling once again.
Sol worked as co-pilot on the YV-666, Far Runner. After about five years of working as co-pilot and without any signs of advancement, he eventually left and went on his own to seek work else ware. Tyveriate eventually found his way on Nar Shaddaa where he was employed by a wealthy man who had a small YT freighter full of contraband but no skilled pilot to get it too its destination. The deal was a decent 10,000,000 plus the ownership of the said ship if completed on the employer’s desired time schedule. Sol hadn't eaten in days and a decent place to sleep was nowhere in sight, so he took the job.
The Young Corellian smuggler flew the freighter to its required destination in the Hoth system. Unfortunately, the stolen X-wing fighter that he was suppose to contact was found floating in orbit broken in a scattered mess of debris. A rival gang, who his employer had secretly worked for as a spy, sat up the smuggling job to smear the name of the smuggling outfit that Sol thought he was representing. First thought that crossed Sol’s mind was to make a break for it but he realized that his borrowed ship had been remotely sabotaged by the perusing ship leaving the Corellian helpless and open to be boarded. A long month -- that felt more like an agonizing year passed on by as Sol was tortured simply for pleasure. It was at this time that he received his identify scar along his left eye and across its eyelid vertically. The wound caused cosmetic damage resulting in a drooping eyelid. To this day, this remained as a personal reminder to Sol. He was a man used to simply ruin the reputation of a group. The exact details of his escape are left to Sol alone, but he eventually manages to free himself and jump a guard. On the guard’s person, were the key codes to an aged and poorly kept S-250 Chela-Class Starfighter. Tyveriate would steal this ship and use its ID codes to mask himself as the guard to slip out of their control and back to Corellia. To lose any trail that might be left, he sold the S-250 leaving only 84,000 in his pocket.
Sol Tyveriate’s personality can be described best as a mixed bag. He is often eccentric, aloof, goofy, cheeky and quite nutty. In hopes to not sound cliché, he is often the sort who would mock – or perhaps not take a dangerous situation serious. Instead, he would act in the said manner. The most important element that should be understood about Sol’s personality and mindset is that despite his outer actions; his greatest strength is his calculating manner. It shouldn't go as far to say that Tyveriate is a manipulating sort in terms of personal greed or that another person’s well being held no importance to him. Sol rather “plays the fool” in a dangerous situation to analyze and come up with a crafty plan in which he will put into motion at precisely the right time often looking at the situation like a game of holo chess. With that being said, Sol is often a laid back and friendly sort in his day to day life though he often comes off as an outcast at times.
