Need to spy on people? Highlight targets for a scouting party? Or planning a high profile assassination? Well if the answer to any of these products is yes, then we have the perfect product for you. The ironically named Bird Watcher is a remote controlled drone shaped in two separate forms of birds. The Little Beak and Big Bird. The drones however perform the exact same function to varying degrees of environmental effectiveness.
The functions the drones provide are very simple, once in the air the drones are controlled through the users data pad and are navigated to wherever the operator sees fit. The high quality camera a video feed will zoom and give the operator a high definition video stream of whatever they are looking at in real time. This is incredibly helpful for operators needing to know what lays ahead of them. In addition to the live feed of information the Bird Watcher operator also has the capability to highlight and mark targets. Marked targets will show up as red diamonds on your comrades and your own HUD, provided that the drone still has line of sight and visuals on the target. This makes tracking for bounty hunter teams a lot easier. day or night the Bird Watcher can be used any time
Directions are easy as one two three. Simply link the Bird Watcher to your data pad or HUD, once this is done simply throw the drone like a model airplane and let it fly using it's repulser lifts and wings. Once in the air the user takes control and maneuvers it to where they want to be. However the Bird Watcher only has a range of ten kilometers and a height limit of three kilometers, so keep your drone work within those distances.
This is where we meet the two variants of drones. The Little Beak which is about the size of a small pigeon is great for maneuvering through tight city scape and urban settings. It blends in well with the local bird life and the user can paint it to resemble whichever local birdlife they please. It's fast, nimble, and can keep up with most speeders on the road. However it is rather fragile with it's lightweight frame and medium to heavy winds and rain will ground it.
The Big Bird counters these problems. Being best used in open plains and rugged terrain the Big Bird can operate survive rough weather, however it is not as fast nor as nimble as little beak. It's heavier frame opts for more protection but costs it speed and maneuverability in return.
But the two fantastic units do share common weaknesses. They are rather easy to destroy, a simple blaster shot or slug round will render them useless. A simple clip to the wing will cause either unit to tip over and go down. Jammers will also render these drones useless once they enter the jammer's airspace. EMPs and other ion based attacks will make them fall from the sky or fry them in the user's backpack.
But in summary these drones will get the job done for whatever your mission is. They will scout and mark targets while keeping a low profile.
