Birthplace of Evil

Kyrel was feeling excitement course through his veins. He had devoted months to his obsession for Darth Vader, and found the most startling clue. He was in the Archives on Virgilla and poured through hours upon hours of datapads of the old Imperial Archives from a thousand years ago that only the Ren or high ranking officers of First Order could access. This is where he had received his discovery from someone he did not expect. The young teenage Knight known as [member="Samka Derith"] a known browser of the Archives. She had gladly helped him find what he had sought,or had found something completely unexpected. The datapad she had shown him was one completely missed.

When he had read it he had felt an overwhelming amount of excitement at it's contents. It showed of a structure Vader frequently visited often with a servant called Vanee. The datapad was a direct report from Vanee straight to Emperor Palpatine, and told of Vader's condition following his duel on Malachor. The place that the report was sent from was surprisingly on Mustafar.

Kyrel became slightly annoyed. Mustafar belonged to the Galactic Alliance and it was deep within there territory. He ironically enough found it very interesting. Knowing that the First Order were preparing to make there move on trying to conquer the galaxy he could careless. He found it imperative to carry out this mission and see what that place was. He borrowed the datapad and hurried out of the archives.

Within moments he had summoned fellow disciple and personal emissary [member="Skylar Walker"] to the hanger. He had also summoned the Knight who helped him Samka Derith hoping that it would be an interesting experience between the two. He waited patiently beside his shuttle for the two to arrive.

Samka trudged forwards as the hanger doors opened before her with a hiss and clatter. There she saw an unmarked shuttle ready for take off and besides it, the large cybernetic figure of [member="Kyrel Ren"]. She'd made him wait deliberately to test his patience and obedience once she'd finally arrived. Picking up the pace, Sam walked towards him with her head held proudly, black cloak flowing behind her as she moved. They'd make an odd pair to anyone else, an intimidating crippled man glad in a dark life-support suit standing over a foot taller than her, the petite teenage girl, almost child-like in her features but with a thirst for control to rival a dictator. To further muddle things, she was his superior and would not hesitate to make that clear.

"You found something concrete then?" She asked once she approached. Her eyes briefly flickered over him before turning to examine the shuttle instead, as if the ship was more interesting than her companion. It was as if he wasn't worthy at all. Sam had left the man in the archives to pour over his fascination with the ancient Sith Lord, Darth Vader, just a short while ago. During her routines she'd noticed Kyrel studying in growing frustration for hours on end, finding nothing else to do, she passed on some information from a datapad the girl recalled reading a few years ago when looking at areas of potential Dark Side energy for her own acolyte education. It seemed her small intervention had borne fruit.

Once he replied she turned to look up at the man, her crimson eyes locking into his helmet as though she could see right through it. "And you require me why?"

Skylar Walker

Knight of Ren/First Order Badass
Skylar was confused of why Kyrel had called her. She worked for him yes, but it was highly unusual for him to call her without telling her what was happening or what his plans were. He asked her to be there at a certain time, so she made sure that she was there on time right on the spot. Mainly because she really had nothing else to do at that moment.

Soon, she arrived at the place Kyrel asked to meet him. Seeing her, she would wear a comfortable, but uniform like outfit, her lightsaber staff visible on her back. There was a slight breeze that was almost constant that blew her long hair around as she was soon face to face with Kyrel. She was never scared of him. She'd had her suspicions when she first met him, but being a Sith- I mean, Ren and her being an Imperial officer, first impressions from her to him were good, just his first impressions showed that he would be a tough one, but she lived so far, so she guessed she was going to be alright.

Now they were waiting for someone else. It was no use for Skye to ask what she was doing here as she'd just be told that she would have to wait for their other guest. Skye watched the clock. It had been a while until the other person arrived. It was a teenaged girl who seemed to be around her age. For being late, she had quite the attitude. But of course, just as Skye had asked, this girl also asked why they were here. Looking the girl over quicly, she then gave a small nod of her head in acknowledgement to her.

Kyrel paced for what seemed like hours. His servant and right hand [member="Skylar Walker"] was already present wearing an officer like uniform. He was growing impatient as he had hoped to travel soon. Than after a while the young Teenage superior appeared. Even though Kyrel did not know who she was formally he was often curious on how someone so young could achieve the rank of Knight so early,He had hoped due to his contributions to the Order and the Imperials so far it wouldn't be long. He dismissed it as he gazed at her while she spoke, her eyes having a type of hypnotic gaze to it he replied eagerly. "I require your assistance because not only are we going into enemy territory. But I have no idea what we shall encounter along the way,and as an expert in the Archives would be most useful. After all you are a superior one would think you would take interest in this mission."

With that he turned from her and walked towards his shuttle. He had discarded the old Theta class for a rare Delta class T-3 shuttle For which he walked in a slow stride. He reached the cockpit where he started up the systems of the shuttle, and placed his hands on the control yokes. Within moments the shuttle roared to life lifting off the ground, and the bat like wings unfolding slowly. It blasted off from the hanger quickly and through Virgilla's atmosphere. When they were in Virgilla's orbit Kyrel punched in the hyperspace coordinates for Mustafar, and within seconds It disappeared within the sparks of light carrying them to there destination.

"Enemy territory," Samka repeated slowly. "The enemy in possession of somewhere so important to our culture... It makes your blood boil doesn't it?" She spoke in a voice as calm and rich as ever, her words were more to galvanise the acolyte than express her own views. "And yes," Sam grinned, "I am your superior aren't I?" She couldn't help it, whenever someone addressed her as such, it thrilled her.

Noticing another presence, Sam's eyes flickered over to [member="Skylar Walker"], another girl who seemed to be serving [member="Kyrel Ren"] in some capacity or another. The girl nodded a greeting which Samka almost didn't return, she was in the sort of mood where she would intimidate her way to authority yet a more instinctive side took over for a brief moment. Perhaps the girl would miss it but on her part, Sam's eyes would soften and the ghost of a smile appear on the corners of her lips as she nodded back. They vanished almost instantly.

"And you are?" Samka questioned Kyrel's assistant, her voice returning to its neutral, even cold, state.

With that she marched up up the ramp after Kyrel Ren.

While Kyrel paced, Skye stood idle. She stood calmly, with her feet shoulder width and her hands behind her back, while she held her head high. She seemed quite regal for someone of her rank, but she at least put some effort into using her mannerisms to kill them with kindness. Skylar had a thing about her that no one would want to be stuck with. She had a level of maturity about her that would confuse some people. Her childhood was rather taken from her, so she became more of an adult at the time other kids were still running around in fields with their toys. While they were doing that, Skye was playing with guns, explosives, lightsabers and fire. Now being 18, seemed a little more complicated, but she mastered it gracefully.

Listening to the other teenage girl, Skye let out a sigh.. this was going to be an interesting journey. She had the feeling they'd probably try killing each other in the end, but Skye had her own little game. She wouldn't let this girl get to her and she figured if she annoyed Kyrel enough, he would burst. Skye had a very scary patience level and it took forever to get to her. She was probably over reacting though. She didn't know this "superior", maybe first impressions of her were incorrect as well. When she looked to Skye, she could see somewhat of a slight smile, but it disappeared as quickly as it came before she asked for Skye's name.

"Skye Walker."

she responded as she then gave a slight smirk before turning and catching up to Kyrel about two seconds after he started walking. Once they were on the ship, Skye looked to the younger girl.

"What's your name?"

she asked. After all, if they were going to be working together, it'd be better to know her name in case she needed to call for her.

Kyrel found the young girl both insufferable and irritating at the same time. Soon he would reach a position of power as an Enforcer of the Supreme Leader, that would grant him respect even to a brat like her. She must have taken great pride in insulting others, Something that made her incredibly arrogant , and Kyrel could not figure out weather it was due to her age,or her rank , but soon she would learn that Kyrel would not be a man to be trifled with. He ignored her remarks the best he could and focused on meditating within the dark side to give him strength.

After an hour the Shuttle reached the orbit of Mustafar. It's hellish surface on display from the orbit and mostly uninhabitable to all life. He felt excitement swell within him as he took the ship in slowly. Mustafar belonged to the enemy and so he had to be very cautious about letting them know they were here. He sent the shuttle to disappear within the poisonous fumes of the volcanoes camouflaging the shuttle within it. Volcanoes spewed lava and ash everywhere covering the world and blocking the sun which barely ever broke through the clouds.

He flew low to avoid any of the sensors by the GA and made sure to input coordinates from the datapad he carried. The shuttle followed along endlessly flowing rivers of magma to what seemed to be a dark tower like structure. He felt the dark side grow more powerful all around him , as he felt such joy that he believed that he hadn't felt in a long time. He brought the shuttle slowly onto the landing pad ,It's bat like wings folding and engines powering down as the landing cycle was put into place.

Kyrel had finally made it to his destiny.

"Mustafar. Of course," Samka was standing over the shoulder of [member="Kyrel Ren"] as the masked man sent the shuttle to their destination. Resting one hand on the back of Kyrel's chair, she could read the plotted course through to a world she knew of well despite never setting foot on its surface. It was the world where the Clone War was ended and, in many ways. the birth place of Darth Vader, the powerful Sith Lord who was the second hand of the Empire theirs was a successor to.

It also lay in the domain of the Galactic Alliance, the First Order's most serious rivals with whom war seemed inevitable. During a time of heightened awareness, this might be a problem. "I do hope we're well cloaked, our deaths would be far from glorious if not."

"What's your name?"

Sam turned her head to face the voice of [member="Skylar Walker"].

"I am Samka Derith, Knight of Ren," she informed Skye as their eyes met. Sam reached inside of this girl with the Force to judge her new companion. On the surface she was a thin, pretty young woman but she knew better than most just how deceiving appearances could be. There was anger there, fear and hatred too. Excellent. Some deep rooted resentment was always useful when drawing someone down the dark path. Beyond that, she could sense the girl was connected to the Force too. Not yet as refined as her own connection but with some encouragement, Skye could be worthy ally.

Hours later

They'd landed on a landing pad by an ancient, imposing structure, far from any charted settlement controlled by the Alliance. As Sam's boots hit the rock of Mustafar's surface, she could feel how the landmass already seemed to shift and flow below her feet. The planet was ruled by molten lava to such an extent that any structure required special shielding lest it melt in the heat. On that note, it was remarkable to find such an old building still standing.

She'd barely been outside for a few moments and already Sam could feel her fringe had begun to cling to her forehead in the heat, the sooner they were inside the better. "Come along," Sam gestured for the pair to follow her and set a determined march for the front doors, uncertain of what they would find within.

Skye knew that Kyrel was already quite irritated with Samka already. It was pretty interesting. Samka seemed to be the younger version of Skylar when she was much much younger. Before Skye reached the double digits, she wasn't only mature, she was also very arrogant, just as any young one and quite ignorant. It got her into trouble more times than she could count, but she worked on it and became a very appropriate young lady. She slipped in and out of the formalities as she was being raised to be a military leader until her force powers were revealed. But ever since she was sent to be of service to Kyrel, she has adopted an even more independent nature and she still carries a rebellious nature with her Lady like one. She's one where if she insults somebody, she makes it vague so they don't exactly figure it out right away. No matter how she says it, it at least shuts someone up when she wants them to stop talking.

After they boarded the ship, Skye sat down in the co-pilot seat, helping prep everything, etc. Back wen she was training with the First Order, she was also trained to be a pilot, which she took quickly and learned well. Looking over to the younger girl, she heard her name and Skye nodded.

"Pleasure to meet you."

she responded. Skye could definitely sense that Samka was judging her. Skye herself was beautiful all in all, but she had much more than just the looks. Skylar was used as a weapon at times and had a good strong connection to the force. Not to mention she was also Mandalorian and was great with hand to hand combat.

~
Skye would watch out the windshield with her eyes narrowed as she looked out to the molten surroundings. Buildings from old that still stood in such heated conditions still intrigued her. As Samka walked out of the ship, Skye got up and followed her out. Stepping onto the hot surface made her eyes hurt after a while as heat got to her pretty easily. It was said that it was something inherited from her family, but she could tell that Sam was also bothered by it as well. The way the ground moved under her feet struck a nerve with her and she watched where she stepped, being sure not to slip and fall.

With the heat business said, Skye walked side by side with Sam. The air was quite heavy and she herself couldn't wait to get out of the heat.

He walked along the landing ramp, and onto the platform. He could not feel anything, but he could tell the two girls were affected by the heat and so followed [member="Samka Derith"] to the front entrance. He looked up his optics seeing that it was a dark tower of some kind. He felt a rush of excitement course through his veins, and could feel the presence of the dark side radiating from the tower. Thoughts and ideas came to his head on how he would make this sanctum his own.

He raised a hand and moved it left, concentrating on opening the door. With a hiss the door opened slowly,as it hadn't been opened in a very long time. He walked into the dark halls. The room seemed to be some kind of platform that spilt off, into many different areas of the Castle. He looked around,as he thought that he could sense something but the place seemed mostly barren, and deserted.

He looked at the two that were with him,and said cautiously. "We must be wary. Who knows what lies in this dark place." He said as he activated his lightsaber. The unstable blade igniting with a snap hiss, and illuminated his surroundings with a florescent red glow. He walked carefully along one of the hallways that was in front of him,and looked around waving his saber to provide light to his surroundings.

[member="Skylar Walker"]

Sam reached the door first and paused, her hand hovering over the metallic entrance. There was something stopping her laying her fingers on the structure. Most obviously was the heat. The surface of the door may have absorbed dangerous amounts of heat yet it wasn't something so rudimentary which gave her pause. It was an eerie feeling that she didn't belong here. Before she could voice her concerns to the others, [member="Kyrel Ren"] strode past her as though he'd felt nothing. Either the cyborg was more dead to the Force than she'd expected or... This place was somehow treating him different than her. That was concerning.

Giving a silent nod of acknowledgment, Sam followed Kyrel inside. She stood with hands on hips in the main hall beside [member="Skylar Walker"], Sam's scarlet eyes taking in every detail of the building's interior. Dark, seemingly no sign of life. A lie. It was too convenient. An ancient structure still standing on Mustafar of all places? The shifting continents and extreme heat would have torn any building apart if not for the actions of caretakers.

She let Kyrel take the lead, if there was a trap ahead, she wouldn't be the one to trip it. Sam dared not speak as she followed the unstable crimson blade lighting the path. She was too busy scanning, reaching out with the Force, trying desperately to see something. Something she knew would be here somewhere.

There.

A flicker of movement, no life signs but something was there which shouldn't be. Something directly behind her...

In an instant, the teenage Ren ignited her own blade and took a quick, controlled slash to the air behind her. Her stalker fell to the ground in two pieces, a metallic thud echoed through the castle walls as it did so. A small probe droid with a camera had been observing the trio from the shadows.

"It could be an automated system," Samka told her companions as she nudged one half of the dead machine with the tip of her boot. "But to be going this long? I doubt it. I don't think we're alone."
