Role: Head interrogator
Links: Nadirhttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/109903-nadir/, Point Nadir, Heaven Upside Down
Age: 58
Force Sensitivity: Master
Species: Herglic
Appearance: Tall and mean-lookin’, Agadin is a man of ponderous presence that dominates any space he enters. He’s impossible to miss, and makes sure you know he’s there. His smile has too many teeth (really, they grow back), and his beady black eyes judge your every mistake from high above.
Name: Bjelgor Šimejon Agadinov; Agadin; Lord Cetus
Loyalties: Nadirhttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/109903-nadir/
Wealth: Average
Notable Possessions: Limited edition Pazaak decks; collection of teeth; a Sith sword.
Skills: Mentalism; skilled Pazaak player; extensive knowledge of humanoid and alien anatomy.
Personality: Agadin looks like an unpleasant man. Though one should never judge a book by its cover – or a datapad by its sleeve, as it were – this is one case where the first impression is completely, utterly correct. If your gut screams at you to turn the other way at the sight of Bjelgor Agadinov; congratulations, you’ve got a good gut on you. Trust it.
The herglic is less a person and more a marriage of unsettling and cruel. The idea of a fun game for the whole family is, for Agadin, to tie them each to a chair and force them to watch as he makes them scream one by one. The worst thing is… tomorrow, he won’t even remember their faces.
He’ll keep the teeth, though.
Weapon of Choice: The Force; paws; sword, rarely.
Combat Function:
Mentalist: His sole focus in wielding the Dark Side is the systematic invasion and deconstruction of a sentient mind. He takes pleasure in weaving illusions and drawing nightmares to the fore, supping on the fear that every heart eventually gives into.
Double wardrobe: Though not an especially skilled fighter, Agadin is capable of overwhelming weaker and smaller foes with the sheer weight and force of his presence. Just shy of half a ton, the herglic could simply sit on an opponent and win the engagement.
Big boy: Bjelgor is a massive man in every sense of the word. He will be easily hindered by obstacles no-one else would find problematic. Doors, narrow passages, low ceilings, and any other space designed without oversized herglics in mind will cause him problems. Outmaneuvering him is about as difficult as sidestepping a sofa.
Braggart: More often than not, Agadin is consumed by hubris once he’s alone with his victims. This leads to long, self-aggrandizing speeches and an obscene amount of underestimation. In such situations, it’s laughably easy to blindside the man and catch him with his pants down.
Bjelgor is one of those people who enter life bloody and screaming, and intend to leave it the same way.
As many of his distant, non-sentient relatives in the seas and oceans of the galaxy still do, Agadin began his long and storied career in carnage by tearing apart his siblings in the womb. Instead of emerging with his brother and sister, Bjelgor emerged alone. His parents were none too happy about this development – their Sith overlords were ecstatic.
Thus he was whisked away at a nascent age to grow up among fellow Acolytes of the Sith Empire. Each year the herglic grew bigger, and stronger, and more cruel to his fellow Sith, until his prowess in breaking foes into wet heaps of tears and flesh reached the ears of one Lord Trismus. The man, renowned for his skill in Mentalism and illusion, offered to take this promising boy under his wing as his apprentice, and Bjelgor couldn’t agree fast enough.
The Empire thrived as Agadin learned, harnessing his skills under Trismus’ keen tutelage. Making up for what he lacked in raw potential with hard work, Bjelgor soon became adept at the art of twisting the sentient mind, much to his teacher’s delight.
Much less to the delight of either, the Empire eventually became bloated as it expanded too far – at the first signs of infighting, Trismus and Bjelgor hightailed it from the Outer rim. It wasn’t long after that the Republic battered their burning remains into a shallow grave, leaving the pair to wander the stars.
They found their new home in the cradle of the One Sith a few years later, following with its ascent right to the crest of its power. It was with this new force that Agadin finally achieved mastery over his chosen field, ripping Trismus apart in mind and body alike. For years after, the herglic bore the name of Darth with a grin and a spell at the tip of his claws, more than eager to help the war effort.
But history, as ever, repeats itself.
Bjelgor caught wind of this downfall in time as well, and quietly removed himself from the affairs of the Sith before they went up in flames. Whilst they raged and fell upon each other in civil war, Agadinov was already back on his old stomping grounds.
The winding path found him grinning behind a Nadir insignia a decade later, where he remains to this day.
