Private Black Dog

Naboo/Johnny's Head
Evening/Partly Cloudy

She had made a promise to Anakin and to herself. A promise born from a desire to get her humanity back. To end this constant suffering of not existing and to gain her sanity back. She was also tired of seeing what kind of weird crap half of the galaxy was searching in their private time. Honestly, people needed to get a life. This combination of hopes, wishes and promises brought her to an unusual person that would help her out. He didn't know he was going to, yet, but she knew she would convince him. Who didn't want to help out a psychotic A.I. hell-bent on revenge?

It was a mission to get access to him. She had to flirt, coerce and convince her way past the man's own A.I that was frankly quite charming. Powerful too. She couldn't deny that she would go for him if she had a physical body. Though they could likely figure something out in their digital state.

Focusing back on her mission, Xan scoured through the network until she found her target and let herself into his cybernetics. Now she had to figure out when and how she would introduce herself without coming off as an absolute creep. Perhaps before dinner? Yeah, that sounded like a good time.

Xan patiently watched him and waited for the right time, when he was done with work and relaxed. Then she made her entrance. In John's vision, Xan materialized out of thin air with a big smile and her arms in the air. "Hi there! Sorry to barge in like this, I'm sure it's feeling like a very personal invasion of privacy right now. My name's Xan, maybe you've heard of me. Kind of a big deal on Denon, blew up a space station, preem stuff. Can I maybe order you dinner or something like that, I can get you anything you'd like." she offered him with enthusiasm as she stood upside down against the ceiling. She glitched out and materialized on the back of a couch, crouching with seemingly perfect balance.

John Locke John Locke

The galaxy was full of wonders, of sights and creatures that were like something straight of out a fairytale, or a nightmare spawned from some campfire tale. John had seen it all, sights he’d never even imagined existed, and those he’d always hoped that did. The sunrise on the deserts of Tatooine, The Noch Na Mora, the green gardens of Naboo.

An ethereal woman standing on his ceiling was something new for him.

John had heard of force ghosts, people of such strong will, such personality that they managed to preserve their identity after death. John had never been able to touch the force, the sheer level of cybernetics that were built into his body precluded him from that. But, he’d seen too much to dismiss it. He’d seen miracles that boggled the mind.

This wasn’t that.

The man could see trails of data streaming from the ghost, like tendrils of mist drifting from her form as he glanced down at the tumbler of whiskey clutched between his fingers. Swirling it for a moment before putting it down on the table, leaning back against the back of the couch so he could stare up at the ceiling. For a moment silence filled the room before John’s head cocked to the side, the smallest ghost of a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

“Ok, so colour me impressed.”

Dark eyes followed the apparition as she vanished, re-appearing on the back of the couch before he sat up, turning to the side as if this were an everyday occurrence. So, it might be a little unsettling, a lot unsettling, but he wasn’t about to let that show.

“I can’t say I know too much about that space station, but new of the explosion did make it all the way to our corner of the galaxy…you’re not gonna blow something up to get a steak sent up here are you?”

A quick grin before the entrepreneur waved a hand at the woman.

“I assume this isn’t a social call…although if it is it’s one of the most interesting ones I’ve had in a while. How can I help you…unless this is one of those ‘I’m here to help you’ meetings.”
