STRENGTHS
Released simultaneously with the Galaxy at War set, Black Tyrant's Destruction is a structure deck created by Galactic Illusionary Gaming that takes inspiration from one of the most infamous Sith of the modern era, Darth Darth Carnifex . The deck, a majority Black deck with some Red cards added for variety, is designed around targeting the opponent's Vitality and their cards with directed damage abilities or outright destroying them, as evidenced by the Planeswalker card created for the Sith Lord. Several cards take direct inspiration from followers of the depraved Butcher King, such as his Blackblade Guard and New Sith Knights, and introduces a new archetype with the Bioengineered Being card Vorn-Strunga.
Panatha, the homeworld of the Dark Lord, is an added Planet card for the deck while the Base and Biomes in the deck take direct inspiration from that world with such locations as Vain Hollow Keep, Blackmoor Marsh, the Iron Mountains, and the capital city of Canthar being used to power the deck's Beings and Creatures. Last, and at the nervousness of the card designers, the Sith Lord himself requested that several artifacts in his possession were added into the deck and was very specific on what he wanted them to do.
