• Unwieldy: For anyone not a master in lightsaber combat or even having never wielded this specific blade before, it will prove very difficult to learn and use effectively in combat.
• For the Light: This weapon was created for light side users and its aura enhances light side powers and helps that energy flow via its wielder. Anyone tainted by the Dark Side will find the blade useless and unable to wield it.

DESCRIPTION

A weapon centuries old and with a storied legend around it. The Blade of Bastion is a greatsaber made out of rare and durable materials with an anti-blaster coat over it, allowing it to resist many types of damage including lightsabers, blaster fire and small explosions. It's design itself is a hefty and unwieldy form of a lightsaber build which is utilized in combat as a large and effectively strong two handed weapon.

Thanks to its lightsaber crystals, the greatsaber generates a slightly stronger blade that channels the Light Side of the Force effectively for its wielder. It's energy is so pure that it produces a pure white lightsaber blade that purifies any Dark Side taint it comes into contact with. Due to this, anyone not fully serving the Light Side would not be able to wield nor activate the greatsaber. It also has the ability to function underwater and does not short out when coming into contact with cortosis. The weapon has the ability to change the length and width of its blade depending on the task at hand or even the environment it finds itself wielded in. The hilt of the weapon also has emitters to activate a clam shell type blade as well.

Being a weapon of the light, the greatsaber known as the Blade of Bastion was crafted by an Imperial Knight during the Fel Empire era. It is an anti-thesis of the Dark Side and anyone it corrupts as it is a bane to dark siders and Sith especially. It has a history of being wielded by the leader of the Imperial Knights, serving as part of the election process; for any Knight not able to wield or activate the blade is therefore not worthy of their position.
