BlasTech Company Shares Auction OOC

Hello,

I am selling BlasTech Industries Majority shares and the Chairman seat.

This auction has very specific conditions. Please make sure you read the opening post in its entirety!

This auction is limited for specific buyers only. You must meet the following conditions to bid.

1. You, as a writer must not own any canon companies on any character account.*
2. You, as a writer, must not have any other companies on any character account.*
3. Agree to the following terms.
  • Only Star Wars Canon technology is transferred on completion of this sale. This does not include any SW Chaos Canon Technology submitted through the factory.
  • Felicity Simmons is still CEO. This writer is on LOA and I do not want to remove her from her IC position. You are bidding to be Chairman and majority stock holder only.
  • Current contracts with all factions and companies will remain intact unless you icly decide to break them. Then I guess you can reap the consequences! :p
  • Please review the Canon Companies Terms and Conditions here.

In essence, I want to give new writers who have no company experience and no canon companies the chance to run a Tier 4 Canon Company.

And yes, sponsors may feel free to sponsor new writers who want to bid on this -- but you should roleplay this out icly in the thread. It should make sense!

Could you please explain this as I'm trying to rap my head around this. New owner only gets to sell canon weapons...? What's the logic behind all the factory weapons disappearing?

Meaning any current BlasTech Technology submitted by other writers up until the date of the auction is not transferable.

Alot of folk have put in time in those submissions, and I don't want to take it from them. Which is why Cade Lee's designs are all saved under his name as are all other submissions submitted by other members.

So, this is pretty much for the company and not it's products since there are no canon items submitted to the factory, or are canon items assumed to be distributed by their respective companies? Not too familiar on how companies and markets work. (Guess that mean's I'm the perfect person to buy a high tier company)

This is for the Canon Company BlasTech at Tier 4, all of BlasTech canon company product lines have been linked.

Remember, there are other conditions.

You must not own a company in any character account.
And in turn, while the above also cover this, I'm making it clear that one must not own a canon company.

As well as the other terms above.

I do not own a canon company, but you didn't answer my question. Do the canon products of Blas-tech need to be subbed through the factory in order to be sold, or can they jump straight to market? Sorry for being such a noob about this sort of thing :I

The most important step is always the next one

Are you saying that those writers keep the creative rights basically? They keep the credit for making the items OOC and IC but they would still be sold under whichever person ends up owning BlasTech? (Not looking for stuff just clarifying out of interest)

But how is this the case? It is already stated that Kitts alt will run it as CEO.

Not that I can jump on the offer, but I know some people I might endorse, as a large stock supply is still beneficial and lucrative.

Because they own majority share rights and oocly will be the owner. Icly they will be a chairman.

The CEO is a company's top decision-maker, and all other executives answer to him or her. The CEO typically delegates many of the tactical responsibilities to other managers, focusing instead on strategic issues, such as which markets to enter, how to take on the competition, and which companies to form partnerships with. This is in contrast to the chief operating officer or president, who oversees day-to-day operations and logistics. The CEO is ultimately accountable to the board of directors for the company's performance.

The chairman of a company is the head of its board of directors. The board is elected by shareholders and is responsible for protecting investors' interests, such as the company's profitability and stability. It usually meets several times a year to set long-term goals, review financial results, evaluate the performance of high-level managers, and vote on important strategic moves proposed by the CEO. Directors appoint--and can fire--upper-level managers such as the CEO and president. The chairman typically wields substantial power in setting the board's agenda and determining the outcome of votes. But he or she does not necessarily play an active role in everyday management.

But he or she does not necessarily play an active role in everyday management.
This was my point. The CEO generally is the face of a company, and does the majority of management. A Chairman holds dominant control of the CEO, but from a distance.

Its like the father of a kid who owns a lemonade stall. He can decide a lot of the heavier issues, but all in all its the kid who is in control really.

*shrug*

Not to sound like I'm arguing lol. Just curious to how this would all be viewed.

Thanks for the response!

Am I going to see another 60 submission list of modifications for affiliation/manufacturer changes? :'(
Lol

Only for those who wish to change.

Again, all writers new to the company game with no other companies please do patricpate.

I want to give the opportunity to those who rarely have it for a neat company.

I wasn't kidding when I said danger prefers barter.

Grab some ic allies to help sponsor you if necessary. Roleplay it out!
