SPECIAL FEATURES
Dead to the Eye - If this has you in it’s sights, you’re probably already dead when you realize it
Not Wise to Rip-Off A Wookie- Vehicles and personal armor are even vulnerable for this A.M.R.
Strengths:
Dead To the Eye- With a micro-droid processor, this weapon automatically helps to adjust in real time for things like elevation, height variants, wind, humidity, dust particulate and even Zenoma Sekot fruit fly flatulence or the presence of alchemized bee swarms. Though it is possible to miss with it, a capable marksman who fires this gun with the target in his sights will hit all but the agilest of vehicles or Jedi. And likely leave them a smear on the ground. At least, that's what the flyer in the box says.
Not Wise to Rip-Off A Wookie- With reverse engineered and altered bowcaster technology, this weapon fires a plasma-shrouded tungsten-carbide bolt with a mono-filament tip. Because of the alterations to increase power, this weapon is a single shot only, but as a trade-off can potentially pierce even some tank armor and a wide variety of personal armor, excepting things like beskar or phrik. It does not, however, have the ability to fire multiple bolts, or to ricochet as canon wookie bowcasters do.
- Heavy & Cumbersome- This thing can’t be carried lightly or easily. It takes time to set up, space to be able to lay out and shoot, and time to move from shot to shot.
- Loud- This thing sounds like a herd of rancors roaring in unison. Sensitive eared species will experience severe pain near it when fired. People will have little problems finding you as well with the flash and boom.
- Single-Shot- Each bolt must be manually loaded into the breech and takes a few seconds to do so and to charge the shroud around it.
DESCRIPTION
Exotic? How about winning the plans to a wookie bowcaster line in a game of pazaak and then altering them to make this rifle? This gun can pierce all but the heaviest and thickest of vehicle armor, and personal armor is just the same. High priority target hiding behind an APC? This gun will make that trouble a thing of the past. It’s aesthetics have the blend of Frontier tech and exotic alien lines some come to expect from the Outback region, and overall those who know it’s sound will hear it boom and merely bend back to their work. There is,after-all, no turning back the clock on the dead. And if you have heard the Dead-Eye fire, someone or something is surely dead.
