- Hunter: The Bloodkine Class was designed for close range, lethal broadside combat. Extensive weaponry and strong engines allow the Bloodkine to rapidly approach an enemy formation, and move within fleet groups allowing it to fire its weapons, predominantly focused on its sides and underbelly, to be used to their fullest extent.
- Besieger: The Heavy Turbolasers of the Bloodkine Class are located on the underbelly of the warship, allowing it to fly above enemy ships in strafing maneuvers and deliver its heaviest firepower to critical systems or command bridge positions. A secondary focus of this weapon placement allows for the Bloodkine Class to serve as a planetary bombardment platform.
- Glass Cannon: The Bloodkine Class focuses its systems on offensive output and speed. It has relatively light shielding, focused at the fore of the vessel to allow it to close with enemy ships quickly. Should it suffer heavy bombardment before its superior maneuverability and close range weapons can be brought to bear, they can be torn apart in quick order.
- Engine Block: While the placement of the heavy weaponry on the under side of the Bloodkine Class offers a key tactical opportunity, the position of the engine block is also of great risk. Located at the rear of the ship, the engine block is protected only by a single light shield generator and armored plating, and is exposed during Bloodkine Class strafing maneuvers. Secondary engines located across the ship can only provide a fraction of the speed the ship has should the main engines be crippled.
From Darkness, hatred has brewed. Foundries once turned towards the destruction of Tython have been relit, and the forges of war grind new material for a conflict that is yet to come. From these foundries, the beginning of a new fleet has been crafted. Designs taken from ancient archives found in the ruins of Exegol were unearthed by remnants of the Brotherhood of the Maw, and claimed by warriors of the Knights of Ren. Few of their kind could truly be called visionary when it comes to designing a ship, but with a template provided from those who had come before, a beginning was found.
The first of these new ships, the Heart of Damnation, was constructed over the course of months as the design was worked out, and resources harvested from the ruins of the Unknown Regions. Crewed primarily by droids, the few living souls on the ship are survivors driven by a need for vengeance, and those new blood seeking glory and an outlet for their passion. More of these craft have begun to enter service, and as rumors grow in the dark corners of the galaxy, the Bloodkine Class has begun to strike out as the vanguard of a memory most would have wished forgotten.
