  Intro to Boaz​

  
  Boaz A’rha is a Jensaarai Defender and a close hand to the Saarai-kaar. While Boaz has struggled for many years balancing the light and the dark, he has proven a capable combatant, scholar, and defender of Jensaarai ideals. After the assault of the Jensaarai Fortress on Susevfi, Boaz has acted as a reuniter and recruiter under the Saarai-kaar, traveling the galaxy in search of those few Jensaarai Defenders left and those with the potential to add to their small number.
  
  

  

  
  HISTORY​

  
  Boaz A’rha was a Force-sensitive Twilek and member of Clan Rha. As an adolescent, Boaz’s participation in a series of brutal clan wars led him to his affinity for the force and the dark side of it. He used the force and abused it. He let the dark side corrupt him just to consolidate power for his clan. As the years went on and the chaos of the clan wars began to calm, so too did Boaz’s lust for power. The change in his behavior had more to do with the birth of his daughter than the changes in clan attitudes. On the day she was born, Boaz decided to purge the darkside’s hold on him so his anger and penchant for violence wouldn’t touch her any further than it already had.
  
  It was during this time of confronting the dark side and struggling to see the light that he encountered the force order that would change his life, the Jensaarai. The neutral force sect allowed him into their number and trained Boaz to embrace both the dark and the light, and the space between. Boaz in his training struggled with the strong influence of the darkside but managed to stay the path due to the friendships and rivalries he made with his fellow Jensaarai apprentices. The most notable of his contemporaries was his friend and the future Saarai-kaar, Jerec Draay.
  
  With a focus on his motivations, and the achievement of several extraordinary deeds in service of the Jensaarai, Boaz ascended to the rank of Defender. He proved to all he was a capable combatant, scholar, and defender of the Jensaarai ideals.
  
  During the assault on the Jensaarai fortress on Susevfi, Boaz was a half galaxy away. By the time he reached the Jensaarai home, it was too late and the damage had been done. As he walked among the ruins and the dead, he almost vowed vengeance and risked falling to the darkside, instead he thought of his daughter and those few Jensaarai who may have survived. He decided to forgo vengeance and follow the force on a path to reunite the order that had done so much for him and his family, and to do it all under the leadership of the new Saarai-kaar, Jerec Draay.
