DESCRIPTION
It started out as an inspection for bio-weapons on a recently found old orbiting station near the system Druckenwell in CIS territory. Under the invite of [member="Darth Tacitus"] to all of interested CIS allies to explore and go on a treasure hunt of said station, which incidentally dated back to the old Eternal Empire under the rule of Valkorion; Karlie happened up the cache of tens of thousands of battle droids stored in the weapons hold of the station.
Old as they may be, she discovered that on the whole, most of these droids still held about 17% of their stored power cells.
making this short; Karlie returned to the station and transported her find and claim off the station. The invite to the station had been as a treasure hunt for the CIS and this is what she found.
With a little elbow grease to spit shine them up (not by yours truly mind you, but by my system's maintenance personnel) and new powers cells...was able to acquire a fodder load of these toys for the CIS...mainly for me at a fraction of the cost of say a thousand new model battle droids.
Sure the're old. But they function and will be quite handy in keeping my foes busy as our main forces work on outflanking them.
Shoot...did I just post one of my battle tactics?...disregard the last sentence.

The RP is Echoes of Eternity-Bones of Zakul and the find and play is on post #28, 30 and 40.

C-100 Transport for BOB-1 units

THsdE7R.jpg

C-100 Transports are for BOB-1 transportation in lots of 100.

C-100 Transports do not have hyper-drives and therefore require an SD vessel or comparable support ship to deploy them to front line battlefield and/or campaigns.

C-100 Transports carry all necessary support equipment to service, charge and activate BOB-1 units.

C-100 Transports were sub-contracted to lowest bid, as 100 transports were ordered for the 10,000 acquired droids. The transports are lightly armored and unmanned, as they have been designed to be operated by the BOB-1 battle droids. Unfortunately, it were found that 3 BOB-1 battle droids were needed to effectively pilot the C-100 transports.

Oh come on peeps, give me a break!
They were acquired for free, so why would I buy expensive transports for them and man them with human pilots?
I mean...well, look at it this way; I didn't need Castan Admiralty/Council approval to purchase the low cost transports, as they are nothing short of economy cargo transports. The droids were free and the only cost aside from the C-100 transports were to recondition the droid power packs.
I kept the cost below what would have otherwise required me to submit a budget request from the Castan Cabinetry.
As thus, the C-100 Transports fell within my operating budget credits. :D
