Noah sighed as he waited for the arrival of his most recent client. A few months ago Noah had put out the feelers to a variety of different companies and factions that he felt might need weapons, armor and vehicles. Finally one of the fish decided to bite and here Noah was to reel it in. Lady Kay Arenais, the Queen of Commenor and the leader of the CSA was currently on her way to meet him. Noah had taken the liberty of looking through the CSA's armory and had decided on what kind of weaponry to bring to the meeting.

A quick look through the catalog he had been given reinforced what Noah had already suspected. While the CSA already had a good amount of starships and personal armor they were lacking in vehicles, smalls arms and heavy weapons and that's what Noah was here today to sell them. He had a table laid out with a few choices prototypes that he had been looking to put into mass production for a private contractor but that contractor had crapped out leaving Noah with some good prototypes but nobody to sell to. Also with him was a datapad filled with blueprints fot a few armored vehicles that he whipped up. But for now he sat waiting for the Queen.

[member="Noah Corek"] had done what all the other weapons and armour have never done before. He wished to meet to show off his wares not at the Palace, but at a demonstration range. How fitting. Such a thing would offer her much more than what statistics and imagery on a datapad could. And that was something that she couldn't pass up.

Kay arrived not too long after Noah had set everything up. With her were a few uniformed guards. It was customary of course, given that she was a magnet for trouble and anything could be a set up. But of course she vouched for that not to be the case. This was business, and one that would benefit her people, not to take away from them.

She smiled as she approached Noah, holding her hand out for him to shake. "Welcome to Commenor. I am Lady Kay Arenais. I hope that I haven't kept you waiting long. What have you brought for me today?" Straight to business. He didn't look the type to be amused by common chatter.

Noah bowed before shaking hands with the queen, while Noah did hate formalities it paid to be formal in a situation. "A pleasure your highness. Thank you it is a lovely planet. Though I prefer Fondor and Coruscant, being a native Coruscanti myself." Noah informed her with a smile. When she began to talk about business Noah's smile widened.

Walking over to the table Noah removed the tarp he had over it and presented it with a flourish. On the table was a variety of small and heavy arms. Knives, blaster pistols, carbines, rifles, snipers, light repeaters, heavy repeaters, thermal detonator launchers, rocket launchers, etc. Walking to the end closest to him Noah picked up one of the knives.

"Here we have a pretty standard vibro-knife. It can be used as both a combat and utility knife. It also is a bayonet and can be mounted of any of the blaster carbines or rifles I show you today. Eighteen centimeter blade, half of which is serrated, it's double edged as well, the handle is made of a pretty durable rubber as well and the pommel is the same type of steel and in a pinch can be used to club someone." After finishing his explanation of the weapon Noah spun it around and handed it handle first to Lady Kay.

Kay smiled as [member="Noah Corek"] shook her hand. Formalities was something that she wasn't much of a stickler for, but some situations called for it. She laughed a little as he let her know about the planets he favoured. To each their own. She preferred planets that were equal to the city and natural landscapes. Planetwide cities just weren't her type of thing. "I have been to Coruscant. I'm friends with it's Governor. It's quite the place, I must say."

And now onto business. She eyed the table after he removed the tarp in such a dramatic fashion. The theatrics was appreciated. Yet she could sense the pride that Noah had in his work. That was key for anyone trying to sell a good product.

She listened to the description of the vibro-knife. The pitch was near perfect. No embellishing, just straight to the point. Kay took the knife in hand as it was offered. "How strong is it? Enough to pierce armour?" She could imagine various hand to hand combat scenarios where such a thing would be needed.

Noah nodded to her question. "It's strong enough to pierce plastoid given a strong enough thrust but anything stronger than that and you'll have to aim for the joints of the armor. A skilled soldier should have no problem accomplishing either in a combat situation." Politelty taking the knife Noah set it back down on the table and picked up a blaster pistol.

Looking over the pistol Noah decided that this was the perfect one to show the queen. "This a standard heavy blaster pistol that I've designed with a added special underneath it. The frame is made of a light-weight titanium-alusteel alloy with the internals and barrel being quandanium steel to better reduced overheating." Handing the blaster to Lady Kay he then pointed to the addition under it.

"The underbarrel attachment is a micro grenade launcher. It can fires a variety of 10mm shells. High explosive, smoke, flechette, smoke, buckshot, white phosphorus, etc. Basically anytype of explosive munition that you can think of can be fired out of it."

Kay nodded as [member="Noah Corek"] answered her question. It was probably clear to him that she wasn't much of a fighter. Her weapons were words, not blades or bullets.

She gave him back the knife and then listened in as he described the pistol next. Once it was in her hand, Kay took note of the weight. It was heavier than her own hold-out pistol, but that was more to do with the fact that it was much larger. She raised a brow as he pointed out the special feature. That was indeed unique. "How many shells can that hold? Just the one? Or a few?"

"Unfortunately no, I tried creating a model that was either double-barreled or magazine fed but in the end the weapon always came out as unruly and front heavy." Noah informed her before he went over to the table and picked up a blaster carbine. Inspecting like all the others Noah handed it off to Lady Kay. "Pretty standard blaster carbine you got there. It's made out of the same materials that the pistol was."

"The cylindrical part up front is actually the power cell and tibanna gas canister. Seventy-five percent of it is the power cell while the other twenty-five is the gas canister. Of course this does have the side effect of it being a little front heavy though it actually has the benefit of making it more accurate."

Kay nodded. It made sense that only one projectile was capable of fitting in the pistol's micro-grenade launcher. But she had to be sure. She carefully placed it on the table as [member="Noah Corek"] went to the blaster carbine next. She listened to his pitch for it as she took it in hand, examining it. Indeed it was heavier than the pistol and she was surprised to hear at how much of it was the powercell. A fair amount of accuracy was well and good, for their were times when one needed to open fire quickly. To know that they could hit their target well was something that her soldiers could take comfort in.

"I like what I'm seeing so far. What else have you got for me? And will you be demonstrating them as well?" They were at a firing range, afterall.

Noah nodded and smiled. "Of course we'll be testing them your highness as for what else I have let me go down the list." Noah said as he walked over to the table and began to show her the weapons as he went by them. "Single shot disposable 70mm rocket launcher. It'll pierce through most light armor and demolish most buildings. Reloadable missile launcher. Come with four different missile types. Demo, High Explosive Anti-Tank, Surface to Air Missile and Payload. The first three are self-explanatory while the last one is basically anything you can put in it, napalm, gas, etc. basically anything nasty you can shove in there. Modular hand grenades, the fuse is the only universal component. You can screw the fuse off and attach it to any other body. It comes in any type you can think off, fragmentation, flashbang, smoke, incendiary and even a non-lethal taser like grenade. Semi-auto magazine fed thermal detonator launcher. And last but not least a blaster rifle, light repeater and heavy repeater. So now which one would you like to try first your highness?"

Kay smiled. Good. At least she'd get to see the weapons in action. Selling points and words were one thing, but to see the weapons operate were quite another, most especially when she hadn't bought anything from [member="Noah Corek"] before.

As he went down the line to the various rocket launchers and the like, she thought of how her own soldiers would use them. None of the harsh things such as gasses and fragments would be used. She knew that. Others might not care and be prone to using the most destructive and harmful munitions that they could. But her people weren't like that. Kay wasn't like that.

"And what about the ammunitions? Do you sell those as well?"

As for which one she wanted to try first, Kay bit her lower lip. There were so many to choose from. She's fired blasters and blaster rifles before. But maybe something with a bit more punch would be fun. "Could I try the missle launcher?"

Noah nodded to her question. "Of course your highness. Power cells, Tibanna gas canisters, bullets, rockets and missiles. All of it. I use to get my Tibanna gas from Bespin but after the First Order took it over I had to find other sources to get my gas. I mostly source it from Taloraan and Rendili now." Noah informed her and smiled upon hearing her request to try the missile launcher first. "Of course. Any type of payload that you would prefer?"

Kay-Larr

Kay nodded when [member="Noah Corek"] informed her about Bespin. There were plenty of people that lost business there when the First Order took over. She remembered it well, having a mining platform there once when she used to work for a friend's company. That seemed like a long time ago. Yet it was only about a decade.

What type of payload? That was a good question. She could choose just about anything. Something with a big explosion maybe. That's be stunning, provided that she could hit the target. Given that she had never used a missle launcher before, that might not be so good of an idea. "A gas round, I think. Just to be on the safe side. Would you mind helping me with it? Any tips would be great."

Noah nodded approvingly at her choice of payload. It was a smart idea for someone to use a gas round when they were inexperienced when it came to heavy weapons like this. Less chance of the missile being fired incorrectly and killing everyone in the immediate area. Walking back over to the table Noah picked up a canister labeled 'tear gas' and loaded it into the launcher. Picking up the launcher Noah walked back over to Lady Kay and handed it to her.

"The shell I loaded was a standard tear gas shell. Even if something goes wrong the most damage that would be done would be minor lung damage and nothing that couldn't be repaired by a good doctor. As for advice just keep your feet planted firmly into the ground, make sure your backblast is clear and center the reticle on the target you want to fire on." Noah informed her as he handed her the launcher and stepped back.

Kay nodded as she listened to [member="Noah Corek"] give his advice on how she should stand and hold the weapon. In her mind she had imagined a few different scenarios, but one of them that had included the missle firing backwards was shelved as Noah had loaded the launcher, and not her.

Obviously not wanting to shoot near the table, she headed over to a spot where she had clear access to the target. Kay planted her feet shoulder width apart to give her good stability. And like most, she squinted with one eye asshe lined up the sight of the target. Half expecting a big recoil, she braced herself for it as she pulled the trigger.

The missle launched successfully, though Kay missed the target, hitting just to the left of it. Still, it hit the gravel on the side. The smoke and gas billowed, obscuring the target from view. She smiled despite missing her mark. "That was fun. Can I try the heavy repeater next?"
