- Leeching Bulwark: The specialty of this suit is its high resistance to blaster and plasma discharges, utilizing a molecular shield to not only block attacks but absorb the energy to feed its own internal systems.
- Mobile: Worn by a pugilist, this suit allows for dextrous movement so the wearer may engage in hand-to-hand combat without being compromised by bulk.
- Say that again: Personalized dampeners allow for complete silence in the helmet while also being programmable to allow select sounds/voices within the chamber.
- Extra storage: Pockets for days. Allows Cara to carry various engineering tools on the field.
- Break in defense: While ultrachrome plates lessen the blows of lightsaber attacks, the expensive material is used sparingly. A blow aimed to any unplated section is liable to strike true.
- On the fritz: A close-range EMP or burst of electricity will short-circuit the suit's technical functions.
- Overload: Bearing a molecular shield means a potentially looping energy source which can overcharge with too much absorption. Surplus energy must be discharged via two thermal vents on the back before suit overload, the latter causing total failure and a possibly fatal explosion.
Utilizing her company's materials, Cara crafted a suit of armor which enhanced her combat style and accommodated her needs on a battlefield. Possessing cybernetic arms gave Cara an edge in hand-to-hand fighting, but as a pugilist she needed an armor which gave high standards of protection without the bulk. Already a slower target, limiting mobility further would have been a crippling error. Ever the picky engineer, she drafted the plans in a private endeavor to create an armor which provided close and long-range protection. Its prized feature was its molecular shielding, capable of taking rounds from some of the hottest artillery fire. Energy from blasts were absorbed then rerouted into the suit's own powercells, fueling the molecular shield and other technical features. This feedback loop could become dangerous once too much energy was absorbed, prompting immediate discharge of surplus energies via thermal vents. The air from these vents was scalding; any unarmored flesh within a two meter radius would suffer drastic burns, and those in a three meter radius would experience great discomfort. If discharge did not occur, the energy loop would result in a suit breach then a likely explosion.
Unphased by such possibilities Cara pressed on with production, programming the helmet's extensive aural capabilities and outer holographic display. The sonic damper enabled selective silence, allowing Cara to pre-program "clearance" for specific voices and sounds. Armed with the ability to listen to her own thoughts or music uninterrupted, Cara could focus on plowing through the fight without missing an important order from the higher-ups, or the tell-tale whine of an incoming missile.
