- Description: The Book of Tides is a book that has been drafted in ancient times, filled with the spells, magick, and other Force uses by the Blue Coral Divers clans. Each Elder has a spell to allow for creation of new spells to be placed in their specific clan's book. The Blue Coral Divers are on Dathomir, however many off shoots exist, including the second largest Clan offshoot, on Kattada, under the guidance of Elder Brooke Waters. The book covers specific topics to the Blue Coral Divers, as well as general magick pulled from the original Book of Law.

- Reception: The Book of Tides is very specific to the way of life of the Blue Coral Divers clan. The spells can be used by all manner of Witches, and even Jedi who are open to the use of the spells, however they tend to be very specific to the mythos of the Divers.
The book is designed on a water resistant papyrus. With advances in technology, the Blue Coral Divers have utilized this to protect the information, with waterproof inks and yet the feeling of sand on the pages. The cover is designed with shells and sea glass. The book is written in a blend of Dathomiri and Basic, a trade creole for the world.
CONTENT INFORMATION
The Book of Tides is equal parts history and equal parts Force and Magick education for members of the Clan. While smaller families and septs within the Blue Coral Divers may have their own hedge spells, the Book of Tides is designed to provide training for all rituals of the Clan. Following a foreword that is added onto by each Elder.
- Foreword – A compilation piece that is written by each Elder. The Foreword includes the major events that have occurred from one Elder to another, and if a major event changes the course of the Clan, it is added into Chapter 1.
- Chapter 1: History of the Tides: This section of the Book of Tides includes all the major events that occur to affect and change the course of the current of the Clan. This chapter may differ from one sect of the Clan to another, as the Kattadan story will be vastly different from the Clan on Dathomir. Kattada will outline The Shift from Dathomir to Kattada, while Dathomir will refer to it as the Calving of the Clan as it breaks the larger clan in to smaller ones.
- Chapter 2: Hunting in the Sea: The Blue Coral Divers depend on the sea for their livelihood. While they are apt traders, the corals under the waves are sacred to the Clan, and with this, chapter it covers how the harvesting is done properly. Under the sea, there are a number of resources and threats, this chapter provides mundane ways to harvest resources, protect from threats, and identify and clean species for sustenance.
- Chapter 3: Activate your Magick: Activating the connection to Allyan Magick, and the Tides requires forethought and meditation. While the Clan is not aggressive, knowing how to properly use their gifts, including enhancing their senses, controlling their body, and knowing how to properly alter the world around them.
- Chapter 4: Calling Upon the Tides: While Magick is the main focus of the Witches, the Blue Coral Divers have a focus to the seas and tides. This can help enhance their magic, or assist in specific spells from banishments to summonings.
- Chapter 5: Protection Spells: The Blue Coral Divers follow many secrets of the sea, and this includes the nature of many shellfish and other species to create protections, and at times, even venoms to ward off predators. Spells with this in mind are found here.
- Chapter 6: Alter Environment: As the Sea is part and parcel to the Coral Divers. Alter Environment, and its multitude of uses are held within this chapter.
- Chapter 7: Enchantments of Protection: Finally, the major focus of the Blue Coral Divers upon Dathomir, and among other clans, is to provide enchantments to items. The spears of the Blue Coral Divers are not only useful for hunting, but also for whatever the user requests.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Book of Tides has been one of the oldest artifacts of the Blue Coral Divers Clan. When the clans began to split and expand across the ocean of stars with the advent of space travel, the Book was copied by the Elders who would be leading each sect of the Clan. The books, like the Clans, scattered among the sea of stars. Each book had become something in its own, and the Elders would meet on Dathomir every few years to share stories, tales, new magick, and of course goods.
