OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create a unique version of the Andronius War Boar for my character of Monkrove Irs'Valachie Moldova, for the purpose of having war mounts to pull a future chariot submission and to act as bodyguards for monkrove.
  • Image Credit: Credit to Creator
  • Role: Acting as bodyguards for my character and having the dual role of being a war mount when in battle.
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: Industrial World of Spindle VI | Monkrove Irs'Valachie Moldova | Andronius War Boar
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: 70 [Boris] 80 [Horus]
  • Force Sensitivity: Non-Force User
  • Species: Andronius War Boar
  • Appearance: Boris and Horus are both of the Andronius War Boar Species from the Planet of Spindle VI. they have extra thick leathery skin that is as tough as armor and provides extreme protection to the boar when in combat. Two sets of large tusk protrude from its mouth that can be used as an effective weapon against an opponent that tries to slay monkrove. Long brown shaggy hair covers much of them save for the underside near the mating organs. Larger and longer in size compared to the regular war boars which stand at 9 feet, Boris and Horus stand at 10'5 feet due to a combination of selective breeding and mutations. There large hooved feet allow them to climb onto any surface or terrain that they come across.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Boris [Andronius War Boar on the Left] and Horus [Andronius War Boar on the Right]
  • Loyalties: Monkrove Irs'Valachie Moldova
  • Notable Possessions:
  • Personality: Boris has the more aggressive personality between them, more likely to take the brunt of the assault from an opponent that tries to harm their owner. Horus on the other hand is lazy and doesn't really do much outside of combat. They are unfriendly with new people and will try and bite anyone that tries to get close, or if they are annoying will attempt to impale them with their tusk. They are generally untrustworthy of new people that monkrove happens to communicate with and are more than ready to bash and thrash upon anyone that they see as a threat.
  • Training:
    • Left Single Stomp: Monkrove will stomp his left foot a single time, alerting both Boris and Horus to speed up there charges towards an opponent or fortification to bash it down. A slight turn of the foot while stomping will indicate that he is tired of seeing someone and will alert them both to dispose of the displeasure.
    • Right Single Stomp: Monkrove will stomp his right foot a single time, alerting both Boris and Horus that he wants them to move something heavy or to act as a beast of burden for supplies for the troops that he leads on the battlefield. A slight turn of the foot while stomping will indicate that he is looking to use one of them as his war mount with left turn meaning boris and right turn meaning horus
    • Whistle: Monkrove would let loose a particular whistle from his mouth to indicate that he wants them to come to him. This particular sound alerts them from wherever they are on the battlefield that either monkrove is in danger or needs transportation to carry on the battle with an opponent. A higher pitch from normal will indicate that he needs them to ram into someone to knock his opponent away from killing him, while a lower pitch from normal will indicate that he needs them to sneak attack.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Combat Function: Boris & Horus are excellent combat beasts on their own, able to defend itself against any opponent that they come across for a lengthy amount of time before being overwhelmed by them. They work well together on the battlefield, able to stand up to opponents that would overwhelm either one of them in direct combat. They work extremely well with monkrove on the field of battle, often acting like his left and right shield so he doesn't have to split his vision away from his main opponent. Although they are more of a liability than help when in a tight space as they take up too much room for monkrove to be able to fight against his opponent.
Strengths:
  • Andronius War Boar Benefits: Boris & Horus both come equipped with the standard strengths of the war boar species, such has having the ability to climb any terrain that they come across or having the trait of great devourer, allowing them to consume anything that they come across into their stomach to feed them in times of food shortages or just due to natural instincts.
  • Greater Gore Thrust: Normally the regular andronius war boar's gore thrust is painful enough but due to the mutation and selective breeding programs. Boris & Horus are much more powerful in size and brute force. Using their larger tusk to skewer things within their path because of the intense momentum of their charge at an opponent. It is best advised to move out of the way because not many things are able to survive being hit full force.
  • Enhanced Strength: While the regular androinus war boar comes equipped with powerful muscles that can bash down a solid fortified gate with enough charge speed. Boris & Horus have been enhanced beyond their species limits to act as extremely quick mobile siege engines that have more than enough force per square inch to smash through lesser fortifications on the battlefield, such as turret bunkers or stationary encampments.
  • Extra Thick Armored Hide: Due in part to being an Androinus War Boar, they have extremely thick leathery skin and hair that protects them from harm. However due to the selective breeding and mutation, Boris and Horus have extra thick leathery skin and hair that more than doubles there protection against energy weaponry and projectile weaponry. This makes them extremely durable when facing an opponent on the battlefield.
Weaknesses:
  • Andronius War Boar Weakness: Much like they have the strengths of the species, Boris and Horis both possess the same weaknesses as the original species. Such has having unprotected eyes that make them vulnerable to lightsaber strikes or general stab wounds. And are generally weaker to certain elements, such as fire and lightning although to a lesser degree compared to the standard war boar. But these elements can be used to wear them down considerably making this a weakness.
  • Slower..Slow..Speed: Much like the original war boar, Boris & Horus are extremely slow to build up momentum into a charge motion. They are slower than the standard boar because of their increased size and body weight facing more air resistance than normal. This makes them slower to engage with an enemy on the battlefield, as they will have a tough time stopping their momentum or turning another direction while in motion. However if they are given enough warning ahead of time that a turn is coming up, they can adjust accordingly.
  • Greater Berserker: Due in part to still having some semblance of feral traits within them, Boris & Horus still suffer from the berserker mode that affects all Andronius War Boar's. Going into a blind rage and bashing and thrashing that is dangerous to all that they see and deem a threat on the battlefield, friend or foe alike isn't safe from their wrath once they emerge into this mode and it takes a while for them to calm down to respond back to their owner.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Andronius War Boar's known as Boris & Horus came into existence much like any of the species do. Born into a herd of 14 other boars lead by a single alpha male near the southernmost edge of the Industrial World of Spindle VI's Mangun Forest. Boris and Horus were one of the few males to be allowed to stay within the herd to defend the females while the alpha male was patrolling his territory and fighting off predators that might threaten the herd as a whole. When the alpha male was away, a rival herd attacked them and eventually destroyed the herd and devoured the injured to feed themselves. Boris and Horus merely managed to survive the encounter with the rival herd, as the alpha male boar returned to the ruins of his once mighty kingdom. Enraged beyond belief and entering into this berserker mode, the larger and superior boar drove them both out to fend for themselves without the support of a herd for food. Scavenging for food in the endless mangun forest, they would stay there for a while. Establishing themselves in a small cave for a couple of years. Monkrove who was only 20 at the time and fresh out of the Military Academy for the Spindle VI Security Forces would take a small airship down to the forest on a boar hunting party has licenced by the Governance Commission to thin the growing populace that would soon carry on consuming anything in their wake. Monkrove lead his small expedition party through the forest, snaring kill after kill of the boars and loading them into the airship to return back to the floating city of halbarrow. Something didn't seem right to him, and thus he went to investigate and discovered the smaller than average boars later known as Boris and Horus looking for food near his location. He couldn't leave them there without any food, and dragged a corpse of a boar he had killed on the way and gave it to them. Boris and Horus as he called them after they had followed him back to the airship because of wanting more food to devour. Monkrove couldn't support having two fully grown boars within his small apartment but he had decided to keep them anyway in a pen on the roof and delivered them plenty of food to devour as long as they behaved.

Monkrove after living with the boars as fully grown adults, and having become a mercenary-general of a small brigade of men. Decided to take them to a local laboratory to have them enhanced and fitted with armor to make them fearsome bodyguards for him and his regiment when they were sleeping. Having the advantage of endless watchmen that could patrol the camp for any sign of danger and let the people inside know to defend themselves. Boris & Horus would increase in size and pretty much everything else to turn them into two giant war mounts and act as mobile siege engines to bash down enemy fortifications that stood in the way of the objective. Monkrove figured that by hooking them to a chariot, they could be used as an effective vehicle to carry him around while his suit was depowered due to the immense energy that the AC-1C Assault Armor required in order to operate all of its functions. Boris & Horus have grown up to the current day as mighty war beast that are as loyal as ever to the one that provided them food without them having to actually work for and in turn they provide him with excellent body guard services while he is sleeping and acting as his left and right shield on the battlefield, protecting his flanks.

Evening, hope your day's going well! I love seeing war mounts and critters come into play and I think you've done a breat job overall with this one. However, there's one thing I'd like to address.

Regarding the Strength Wording, specifically Greater Gore Thrust and Enchanced Strength, the language here is a bit worrying because of the variety of metals that can make up vehicles and armor types on Chaos. Because of that wide variety, saying that they can smash through "just about anything" feels like a stretch as some metals are nearly indestrucible. Maybe a better way to phrase it would be to compare it to a metal like Durasteel as many things are made of/comprise of Durasteel in the Galaxy (and thus provides a good baseline idea of damages that can occur). Please also note that damage is determined by the opponent/writer in cases of PvP.

Please give me a tag if you have any questions/concerns or once edits are complete!

Forgive me for my ignorance on the subject and I mean no disrespect to you in the slightest. I am bit confused at the wording of your request for the first part. Regardinging the Section Pertaining to "Greater Gore Thrust" I specifically mentioned that they have an option to simply move out of the way and at such a momentum as listed in weakness, the boar has no real chance to turn around quickly enough to inflict any real damage unless they happen to be alerted before hand which is a 1 out of 10 percent change that this would happen. Like you have also mentioned in your review, the players have the ultimate choice of how much damage that they take. They have many opportunities to defend themselves from damage or not take any damage at all if they so choose.

I have thus changed the wording of the Enhanced Strength to lesser fortifications, specially turret bunkers and stationary encampments. Which I believe should cover the suggestion. If not please comment down below.

Yes, those cover it just fine. I apologize for the confusing wording of my review, it wasn't my intention to possibly confuse you. Thank you very much for explaining the concept and thank you for your cooperation. Enjoy!
