Private Both Hunter and Prey

SWE11-GoldenHutt.jpg

Location: Southern Hutt Space
Time: Afternoon
Target: Koda Fett

Most unfortunately subtly was not on Cyran's side today. Walking around in a modified old power suit with vibrant colors. But Cyran was certainly shooting for the stars on this one and went against the wishes of his own bounty hunter team to go on this hunt. He had heard tales of this Koda guy, that they were the real deal and not to be underestimated. But that the bounty was strictly alive, not that Cyran minded too much, he never dared kill anyone so long as he could help it. But he oh so wanted to make his mark in the narrow world of bounty hunters.

A Hutt, of minor significance had wanted to place a bounty on Koda, not really because they had any beef with them, more so likely to get some kind of enjoyment out of treating a bounty hunt like some kind of blood sport to fund and entertain themselves with. They had known that Koda was on their planet and took this opportunity to give them a warm welcome. Cyran only really agreed to take on this bounty since for all intents and purposes the Hutts were the legal authorities in these yet to be claimed systems of Hutt Space.

Not to mention that if Cyran completed this it's very likely his wife would see him more as an equal, she was someone he kept feeling the drive impress even if that wasn't much of a concern for her. Nonetheless Cyran had managed to not only narrow down Koda to a city, but a mere neighborhood as well. Both with the help of the local authorities and his own intuition. If he ever wanted to be like a Mandalorian, he had to think like one and possibly best one as well.

Walking the streets he stood out like a sore thumb, a hot pink sore thumb at that. He just hoped that not cutting corners in his gear wouldn't be to his determent. But it was only a matter of time until he would face off again Koda Fett...

The Mandalorian roamed Hutt Space freely; no issues, not one, nor for even a mere moment. His credits continued to increase more and more, and yet that reputation remained static -- suppose it could not soar further, but such ensured the Bounty Hunter remained employed. From Sith and Imperials, to lowliest of lifeforms that infected everyone with their filth. Fett's idle strides towards the spaceport should see the man free from this world, and onto the next.

Cyran still felt nervous, he understood that Fett was one of the most notable Bounty Hunters in the galaxy, and his D-tier status was probably grounds enough for embarrassment. Nonetheless he needed to see, perhaps the reputation was unwarranted. And as a bounty hunter it was important he tried his hardest on every contract he was on.

Tracking Koda back to the space port he watched the man ready themselves towards their personal ship to leave the planet supposedly. Cyran needed to act and act now.

"Koda!" He shouted, his voice cracking while he did embarrassingly despite trying to sound tough. "Don't take another step to that ship of yours. I need to take you in, don't make this hard." He continued. He was in a highly telegraphed pose that spoke, don't move or I'll pull my blaster on you. Not to mention the awkward power suit he was in. It looked Mandalorian, but also not at the same time.

It had been some time since someone found themselves so foolish to collect, Fett mused, or send forth their favourite attempt. He could commend each that seized the chance to soar in the ranks that sought to send someone so far above their current status, yet some amount of pity found them too -- scarcely seemed to be a survivor and in that came a reminder. Perhaps it may be best a forgotten bounty, but the Mandalorian himself believed it something all should pursue. In the absence of the Guild, rules found themselves cast aside and lawlessness ruled them all. It may be better if it such never came to be, but men like Vaas and Fett never made the rules, merely broke them.

"You're brave," Fett boasted in his static stance. "You come yourself, or someone else send you?"

"Spare me your compliments Koda, and you should know full well that Bounty hunters don't just do things on a whim, of course someone else sent me." He replied, trying to gain more confidence my the second. "You may not know of me, but I know of you. People like yourself are what inspired me to take on this kind of life. That's really why I need to do this, to prove I'm worthy... Nothing to do with credits." He wasn't lying, and cearly showing that it was more of a fight that he wanted.

His hands where fairly close to either of his blasters on his hips. Clearly preferring more of a gunslinger fighting style rather than the use of carbines. His pair of stubby blaster pistols seemed ready to get into action. Even if they were set to stun mode. "I don't suppose though that you'll come with me that easily."

The Mandalorian maintained a rather effortless control over the carbine that seemed to be held as if a sidearm, as fingers found themselves interwoven throughout the intricacies; beaten and battered, much like the armour Fett coated himself in, the blaster connected to the same example as the rest: tried and tested, yet still the victor. Is someone such as Cyran likely to alter that fact? Koda remained doubtful the voice-cracking would-be hunter of man could do as much. It was doubtlessly evident in the manner Fett carried himself.

If someone sent you, I should be offered that courtesy. Tell me,” Fett said amidst the slow and passive turn made towards Cyran, “Tell me who sent you, so once I’m finished with you, I can pay them a visit.

"Courtesy? You're fame must have gotten to your head, I'm a professional, client confidentiality is an important practice for me. But fear not Koda, you'll be seeing them soon enough." Out of all thing this idea of them feeling entitled to knowing of his client was insulting to them.

Both hands end down on his hips, grasping the holstered DT-12 blaster pistols. Using the hud on his helmet to aid on his hip firing of the two heavy blaster pistols. All trying to cut down on the speed at which he went from drawing to at least decently firing. Blue energy rings shot out from his blasters at Koda, clearly showing that he had blasters set to stun, a nearly constant setting for Cyran.

In a sudden blast, flames spat wildly from the jetpack on the rear-end of the beskar covered torso. It neglected to raise Fett into the air, no, yet dart him to the side; to the right, his right, concealed by an exorbitant statue of some foul Hutt lost to time. He pressed his frame into it and turned across to the side, the T-Visor nestled beside the credit coloured plaque - Zorba, it stated, and the Bounty Hunter could do little more than sigh at the thought of that grotesque excuse for a man, let alone Hutt. So much for one lost to time.

"Last chance," the Mandalorian stated. "Come see me again when you've earned yourself a name."
