Bounty Hunting on Nar Shadaa

Cantina
Nar Shadaa
Teroch Gra'tua was on Nar Shadaa, looking for any potential bounties while having a few drinks 'Either they just chose today to not have any good bounties, or I just chose a bad day...' he sipped his drink as he stared at the bounty sheet, scrolling every few seconds whenever he didn't find something that caught his eye "Why am I, going to waste my time on some guy who has done something so simple, the local police should be going after him." he sighed, at least he could get some good bounties back on mandalore, at least they've done something worth hunting them for. He quickly looked at the patrons in the cantina, before leaning somewhat back in his chair "a bounty will show up, a bounty will show up."

A few tables away, a Mirialan woman was doing much the same thing, although she was nursing a single pint of ale instead of a few. She'd never been a big drinker - too conscious of the damage it might do to her judgement - but sometimes you needed a little something to help pass time while you waited for a good bounty to come along. A couple years ago, she wouldn't have been so picky - but now, with a nice paycheck from the CIS every month, she could afford to be a little choosier. And not stoop to the level of a rent-a-cop.

Sighing, she set down the datapad, took another swallow of ale, and sighed. Well, she'd waited in worse places.

Nar Shadda. One of the places that his father visited when he was still alive and was working for the Black Sun. He was sitting in a cantina and was drinking some vodka. A good drink that is and a taste that probably everybody could enjoy. He was checking through his datapad. Looking for bounties to collect, or people hiring mercenaries to fight for them. Every single job was not the price that he wanted to smell. Horrible prices, even the ones that seem dangerous. Who do these people think they are. He sighed and tool another sip from his drink, continuing to find a job that seemed suitable to him.

The Smuggler's Moon. A place that nine times out of ten, he wouldn't have chosen as a place to visit. But he needed to, he needed to find work, discreetly, to become more powerful as a Sith should. Or he could just employ those he found and trick them into thinking they were working for a poweful Crime Lord, or if they were willing enough, a powerful Dark Lord of the Sith, though he doubted any would believe him. He wasn't powerful in persuasion through the Force, something that he didn't care about. He was a warrior, and his forte would remain with lightsaber combat. At least, it was his best ability.

The cantina wasn't as full as he would expect a haven of criminals to be, but that was fine he supposed. His black eyes, that were concealed by his dark hood and matching garb, saw, @[member="Jar Dar"], @[member="CC-935 Bluejay"] and @[member="Teroch Gra'tua "]though he remained quiet throughout watching all three of them. They were all separated, perhaps he would offer them a job, one at a time. He would start with the female.

"Greetings." He uttered the words to, @[member="CC-935 Bluejay"].

Bluejay's inner alarm - a sixth soldiers sense - had been nagging at her discreetly for the past couple of minutes. Why she hadn't acknowledged it earlier, she didn't know, but she blamed the ale once the...well, creature...spoke to her. She glanced up, a movement betrayed only by a slight motion of her head and a darting of the eyes. "What d'you want?." She asked, her voice a mixture of weariness, impatience, and wariness, as she mentally analyzed what of the alien she'd seen. Tall, powerful, obviously knew how to handle himself - otherwise wouldn't be on Nar Shadaa - overall a formidable adversary.

Despite all appearances, Vaelokin moved quite slow. It was all an act, an act that none could see through. It was something he taught himself to do well, besides, even if he did walk fast, his true form might be shown beneath the dark robings, so it was a good idea to walk slowly anyway. His hands remained upon the table, though they weren't seen, instead, they seemed as if they were just black sleeves upon the table, but in actual fact his hands were just further up the sleeves.

He was an extremely large being, wearing even larger clothes. The sight must have been comical.

"I want people to work for me." He said simply. And black eyes flickered underneath the hood to see if others would be approaching them. "And sense you don't always get what you'd want, I am willing to pay for your services, I suppose." His voice sounded guttural, it was evident that he wasn't human, but there were many species's voices that sounded in such a way. What could he be? A mystery for the scholars.

Cantina
Teroch grumbled slightly, he hadn't found any bounties that he would actually take "I'll just drink for a bit then." he said as he put his data pad down before picking up one of his cups, then downing half of it. He had noticed a moment later that a new patron had walked into the cantina 'He's wearing a cloak? Better be careful of what you do then.' Teroch put his cup down, before glancing back at the cloaked patron. He would be keeping an eye on him until he proved himself not to be Jedi or Sith.

@[member="CC-935 Bluejay"]@[member="Vaelokin"]@[member="Jar Dar"]

Bluejay looked up properly at that. "Oh really?" She said, a little skeptical. But nonetheless, "I'm listening." She was almost always looking for a way to make more credits.

@[member="Vaelokin"]

Krest yawned lightly. He was late. Pretty late yeah. But he steps into the Cantina, and instantly sees @[member="CC-935 Bluejay"]. Someone he knew. Sweet. He offered a wave to her, stepping right over to the group without a glance at the others. "The kark you doin here Bluejay?"

Jar looked up from his datapad and looked around his surroundings. There was a member of the Dread Guard talking with a man who was cloaked. Jedi or Sith. Then an Irodorian came into the scene with the woman and the cloaked man. After looking around he saw someone who seemed his type. Jar got up and went to the man who seemed Mandolorian by his armor. He liked and respected all Mandolorians and even wished if his family could be Mandolorian descent. "Do you mind if I sit here?" Jar asked while adjusting his sunglasses an his favorite blackened coat.

Cantina
Teroch looked up as the man asked him if he could sit down "If your from the republic, then no, I don't take jobs from them anymore. But if your not then sure." he studied the man before picking up one of his cups and drinking some more, he definitely didn't look like someone from the republic, but Teroch didn't exactly look like a mando either 'Probaly just some bounty hunter.' he though as he put the glass down.

@[member="Jar Dar"] @[member="Krest"] @[member="CC-935 Bluejay"] @[member="Vaelokin"]

"Of course I am not a republic scum," Jar said to the man as he sat down. "My name is Jar Dar. Bounty hunter and mercenary." He told the man. He took a sip from his vodka and studied the man behind his sunglasses. "So what brings you to this catina?"

Vaelokin watched @[member="CC-935 Bluejay"] for her response and his eyes widened slowly from their usual listless appearance. Though she wouldn't know that. "Someone to gather me information, or perhaps, a simple...bodyguard." He said softly. His voice sounded deep too, so when he tried to speak quietly it just sounded awkward, though he tried, oh he tried. And then he saw @[member="Krest"] coming up to them and he leaned back into the chair and waited.

D'onnburr stumbled into the bar, and took in the smell of deathsticks and ale. The bar and the patrons all made him feel uneasy. He could tell that most of the bars patrons were bounty hunters just by the look of them. He slowly walked up to the bar, ordered a tall bottle of ale, and walked back to a booth, hiding in the shadows in the corner of the bar. He had nowhere to go now. He was about to run out of money, the closest thing he had to a father was killed, and he had no choice but to go to the bars he snuck drinks out of from when he was a kid, until he noticed some conversation among the bounty hunters. He saw someone who was very tall, very large, wearing a cloak, speaking in a low, gutteral voice, asking for people to work under him. Of course D'onnburr knew that this could be his ticket off of this rock, or at least a step closer to it.
He'd never tried bounty hunting before, but he was sure that he was ready for whatever task the man had in mind.
Quickly he darted up from his booth, at an angle to hide his old masters lightsaber, but revealing a blaster at his side. He heard a woman at the table saying "I'm listening", so he nervously approached the bar, stuttering "I-I'm also l-listening..."

Luminous
Bounty Hunter
Warrant for his Arrest

Luminous found himself pushing past a patron to get into the cantina. His thick titanium-plated boots clanging against the floor with every step. His visor immediately began analysing the faces of those he could see. Facial recognition scans initiated, pulling up military and governmental archives that were otherwise restricted to him, and illegal for him to access. His red and brown cloak was tarnished and torn at it's end, with his hood drawn up. Not that he needed to hide his face, he was wearing a full-face helmet. Beneath his cape was a DC-X15 Sniper Rifle held by a magnetic hold strip, and at his hip a CDEF Blaster Pistol, likewise held there by a magnetic strip. His fingers flexed in their tight gloves, and he marched towards the bar.

The bar was full. He found himself placing his hand on peoples shoulders, shoving them out of his way as he wound his footsteps through the maze of a crowd. He almost ran into someone, [member="D'onnburr Fanlak"]. Luminous clenched his teeth and growled from under his breath "What it boy". He looked to where he had come from, a spare booth. He marched over, sliding into the seat. He kicked his feet up onto the table with two loud thuds. He crooked his elbow and rested his head against his right hand. His eyes scanned the room, this time, fully analysing those he saw. He needed work. With his ship currently needing repairs, he needed it desperately. Luminous may be well known for being Wanted, but that didn't make him rich. He was far from it. He had a bad habit of spending all his money on useless junk, only to find out his pockets were once again empty.

While D'onnburr was standing with the bounty hunters, he felt something. Something in the back of his mind. He sat at the bar, closed his eyes, and emptied his thoughts. Meditation on Nar Shaddaa was incredibly difficult, with its horrible lifestyle and dense population, it's a wonder how he ever tried to study the force on this planet. He concentrated hard and felt something from @[member="Luminous"] across the bar. Taking a leap of faith, he walked up to the masked man and handed him some of what little he had left in his pockets.

Bluejay looked over at Krest. "I'm guessing the same thing you are, Krest." She pointed out with the ghost of a smile. "Earning some extra credits on the side."

"Bounty hunting." Teroch said to Jar "But whoever put these bounti-" he was cut off from seeing a profitable bounty "Never mind..." he started How would you feel about doing a bounty together." Teroch said as he looked around at the other people in the cantina while standing up "Actually, how would any of you feel like, about doing a bounty. There's good pay, should be easy enough, not for one or two people though." he continued to look at everybody, waiting for a response.
