"Wait, he was serious?" A young Chiss asked, staring at her datapad with wide eyes.

"Serious as a Sith, darling," Ire replied, voice as monotonous as ever.

"But... where's he getting all that money?" The woman shuffled around a bit, pulling the blanket back up to cover her otherwise bare chest.

"Taxes, probably." Ire was going through the bounty listing casually, as if she hadn't just been doing what she had just been doing.

"Ugh, don't tell me they're raising them again?"

"Nah. Probably defunding healthcare or something." With that said the Epicanthix started typing in a response to the listing.

"That's a relief. I thought I'd have to start paying more for things."

Ire shrugged in response before sending in her reply. It was fairly simple, nothing elaborate. Such fit her well.
