The Sting touched down in the clearing they had chosen for their ships, a place hidden well among the thickness of the jungle on Tabaqui. Coci, eager to see Thurion had already changed into her light clothes for the conditions of the planet, soft white shirt which she wore loose over her cream trousers, her terrain boots are a necessity to tred the moist surface of the jungle. It would not take her long to walk the jungle to Himmelskald, as Thurion had created a pathway lined with stone to make the journey with ease.

"T2 patch all information on Sarah to our home database please", she asked of the fiesty little droid, "And stay with the ship".

The hot humid air immediately welcomed her home, the heat prickling her skin which caused a sweat to form. The sounds of the jungle filled her ears and the aroma of flowers in bloom delighted her soul happy to be back. She walked with pace along the path, under her arm a small box she clung too with fear of loosing it, not that she would, but the contents precious and she would take no chances.

She is tired, more tired these days.

The sound of the waterfall filled her ears, a place special to Thurion and herself, as it is the place they made love when they first discovered this place they now call home. Turning right along the path she could see the top most part of the house, the windows open and curtains billowing on a soft breeze filling the home with cool air. She can sense him, busy with Nina no doubt and she smiled, knowing he would sense her too.

Her boots hit the verandar in haste and she removed them quickly before she approached the open wooden door to their home.

"...and this one I made while you were away helping grandpa. Look, that's you and that's him fighting that big dragon-thing." Thurion watched as Nina sat in his lap showing off her latest drawings. "Wow, that's great, sweetie! I know grandpa would love it, too." The "dragon-thing" she spoke of referred to when he and Thrand fought and killed the mighty Hrothwûrm back on Midvinter, a feat few had lived through to tell the tale, he'd been told. "Dad, when will I get to see grandpa again?" He pondered for a bit. "Well... Thrand will no doubt be busy ruling over his people for the time being. I'll contact him and see when he'll be free to receive visits. I'm sure he'd love to meet you again, you've grown since last he saw you."

Then suddenly, a slight tingling sensation told him of the return of his beloved. It made him turn his head just as Coci stepped inside, and he greeted her with a wide smile. Nina didn't notice her until a few moments later, and once she did she leapt off his lap and made her way over to Coci, walking barefoot on the fine wooden floor. Immediately she threw her arms around her waist, nuzzling her head against her tummy. Thurion got up from his seat and made his way over to them, greeting Coci with a kiss upon her lips. "Hey there, stranger. What brings such a lovely being into our humble abode, I wonder?" he asked playfully, not noticing the box she was carrying.

A wide smile, in return, met Thurion as she saw him, her heart thumping in her chest for want of seeing him and because of what she has to impart. As Nina came to her, she looked down into her face and wrapped her arms around her as she rested against her stomach, leaning down Coci kissed the top of her head and held her for the time it took for Thurion to join them. The warming kiss removing all emotions of loss felt and loneliness while she was away.

“I have something for you”, she said to Nina as she moved to a side table by the wall and placed the small box on the top. She turned back to Nina and reached into her pockets before taking out a small beautiful crystal sculpture of a mammalian aquatic creature. “It is from .. Pelagon”. She said conversing with Nina through the touch of telepathy and with spoken words together.

Coci’s eyes flicked to Thurion as she knew his curiosity would be peaked at this. “It will be good company for your other creature you have”, she refers to the glass creature Coci had made for her back on Voss when she broke the glass and cried thinking she was in trouble.

She looked to Thurion now, her eyes fixed on his as she regarded him, she had missed him so very much and it was simply good to see his face. “I need to speak to you my love”, she said with some seriousness as her hand raised to cup his cheek and caress his beard, “Alone”. Coci smiled, and her heart filled with a sense of excitement that he would feel through their bond but she is nervous however.

Nina was all-too happy to receive her gift in the form of another glass creature to add to her existing one. Thurion, however, immediately took interest in where Coci had been and what she were doing there. "Pelagon?" he echoed her words as Nina happily wandered off with her gift up the stairs to her room. "Let's step outside", he told her, taking her by the hand. He sat down on the bench out on the porch overlooking the crystal-clear lake, sparkling in the sun. Without warning he then dragged her down by her hand to sit in his lap.

"You can tell me anything, my love", he spoke softly as the tip of his nose touched hers, rubbing together gently. "What is it?"

She simply nodded as she followed Thurion back outside to the porch. Her mind racing over the events that had taken her to Pelagon, and how she would begin to explain it. She felt him tug at her hand and without resistance, Coci settled on his lap and closed her eyes as they took a moment for intimacy. Her heart filling with more love with each moment in his presence.

“It is a long story I have to tell, but one that is important and.. might be hard for you”, she said as she opened her eyes to look into his. Her face is soft as she gazes at him, and she will continue. “After Thrand had told us more about .. Sarah, I could not stop thinking about that, like something in me was telling me find out more. I know now what it was, it was the Force guiding me. So with the little information we had on Sarah I went to the Jedi Order Archives on Ossus to see if I could find out more.. and I did”.

Coci took his hand and rested it in her own before placing the other on her stomach suddenly feeling a little odd, which would be reflected on her face, however she pushed the feeling away for now not wanting to alarm him as she had been feeling sick for a few days now.

“I have much to tell and show you”. She smiled “I found a picture of her”. Coci waited for his response and to allow him to take in what she had told him thus far.

Thurion sat quiet and merely listened to her words. He showed no signs of anger - he could never be angry with her - but rather a hint of concern. Not for what she was saying, but concern for her. He noticed her rubbing her stomach as if nauseous, and it only caused him to hold her tighter. "Sarah? My... mother?" He remembered well what his father had told him about her on Midvinter, the night before the battle. It was an odd feeling, having been raised by his beloved Asha for much of his youth only to learn about his biological mother so many years later, who he had never met and knew little about.

"Coci, it's alright. Take your time." He placed a kiss on her hand holding his. "How are you feeling?"

She let out a long sigh, more to rid her of her feelings in her body as well as relief that he was not upset with her for racing off so. She had never believed he would be especially since guided to do so, as if there was more then the force leading her to Pelagon.

"Yes, Sarah, I have found a little more information about her, not much but there is something more, if you wish to see her image I have it on our home computer". she moved around to face him more squarely.

"I am fine, I think. Just feeling a little tired, probably from the trip. Although I have been out of sorts before this, ever since Midvinter". she said. "I am not sure why but maybe I should see a healer".

Trying to hide his warm smile was impossible as he lay a hand upon her tummy. "Since Midvinter, huh? I seem to recall us having lived some of our finest moments together, there..." He looked up into her beautiful black eyes. "I had a dream last night, while you were away. In it I saw you, Nina, and someone else. A toddler. You were teaching him how to walk as the sun came down." He reached up to brush away some of her hair from her face as he settled his palm against her pale cheek. Without saying another word, he merely nodded at her as it became apparent to her what he was referring to.

"Thurion, please I am trying too..." she did not finish to tell him to listen, as she was trying to tell him something of most importance. But when he rested his hand on her stomach as with his words in which he describe his dream, she stopped.

Her head snapped down to her stomach, at the same time she focused on through the force within her own body. Then she sense a presence new to her growing within her. Raising a shaking hand to her mouth to steady her resolve, she smiled as her eyes found his. "I am such a fool", she whispered before her face broke into the largest smile.

"I am having our child, your dream, you saw our child?". now she gazed on his face with wonderment and for now, everything else forgotten.

"I did, though it was hard to see. It was a boy. He had your raven hair and my blue eyes. I only caught a glimpse of him before waking up, but I knew what it meant." His hand began rubbing her tummy in a soothing, circular motion as he leaned in to kiss her. "We are going to have a son. Our son..." he whispered while holding her tight. It was then that tiny footsteps could be heard coming down the stairs and out onto the porch.

Thurion reached out to his daughter who took his hand and moved closer to the two, joining in the embrace. "Did you like your gift, sweetie?" She nodded happily before turning to Coci and nuzzling into her side. "Fancy giving her the good news?" he asked his beloved still on his lap.

Although it had become all to obvious now, Coci still could not take in the wonderful news. She smiled and giggled slightly at the thought that it was Thurion that informed her she is pregnant. Their lips met in a kiss of love and celebration, and she could only hold him close.

"Our son", she whispered, "Our union".

Nina join them, and Coci wrapped her arms around her as she snuggled into her side, placing a kiss on her cheek, a little girl she has grown to love as a daughter, and hopes that one day Nina will call her mother. As her arm remained around her, Coci took Nina's hand in her's and spoke through telepathy.

Your father and I have great news, I am going to have a baby, a boy .. a brother for you.

Then speaking out loud and turned back to look into Thurion's sapphire blue eyes, "Our son is a gift". She held them both, and with rising emotion tears of joy welled in her eyes. Then she remembered the box.

"I think I know why I had to go to Pelagon now, more so than before. You have given me a gift Thurion in the form of a Son and I have one for you". she said as she stood up and went back inside. Find the box where she had left it and picking up her datapad. Coci understood, it was the Jedi Knight, Sarah that had called her to Pelagon, mother to mother. Coci took in a long breath before bringing back out to the porch, Coci sat between them and the box rested on her legs.

"Asha will always be your mother, your true mother, as she raised you, loves you and molded you into the man you are today and for that I would not have words to thank her. But you are lucky .. you have the gift of two mothers", she said as she presented the box Thurion by resting it on his lap. She find the file with the information of Sarah and the image, opening it the picture of Sarah materialised before them all. The beautiful honey blonde haired young woman, wearing a locket.

Nina shone like the sun upon receiving the news of having a baby brother. Right there and then she decided to be the bestest sister ever, and she put her arms around the two as best she could. Coci then returned to the subject matter of her visit to Pelagon, drawing Thurion's attention once more. She went inside and returned shortly after with the small wooden box she'd brought. She sat down between him and Nina on the bench and placed the box in his lap. Thurion merely looked her in the eyes as he was handed the box, not knowing what to expect upon opening it.

A hologram appeared, showcasing a picture of a woman. Blonde of hair and eyes like emerald. Around her neck hung a locket. "I... feel like I know her, and yet... I don't remember ever meeting her." His fingertips traced the lines of her face before noticing the locket within the box. It matched the one around her neck.

"Yes it is her locket, I found the place where Thrand and Sarah lived and I went there. I was not going to at first, but I am glad I did", she smiled at him. "There was a man there .. a Jedi Knight, well no longer, but he lives there with his small family. He had kept it safe, he knew I would come for it". She turned to Nina and held her to her side.

"I know this is a lot but this belongs to you now. It is her's and there is a sense of the Sarah surrounding it, if you touch it, you will feel her essence". Coci had not looked at the locket from the day she had received it. This moment is for him and him alone if he wishes to take it.

Picking up the locket and weighing it in hand palm, he studied the craftmanship. It was of simple design, yet the Valkyri markings upon it did not pass him by unnoticed. It didn't appear to be made on Midvinter, but rather gave him the impression that these marking were added by hand after its creation. "My father made this... didn't he?" Within the locket the name 'Sarah' was inscribed. Thurion took a moment just looking at it sitting in his palm, then turned to Coci, eyes filled with tears.

"Thank you for bringing this to me. Thank you so much." His head tilted to the side to rest upon her shoulder as a way of saying 'thank you'. He then gestured for Nina to come closer, so she slid off the bench and walked around Coci to sit in his lap. "This belonged to your grandmother", he told her, showing her the locket. Thurion then proceeded to unhook its clasp and place it around her neck. While a bit too big for her, it still fit her pretty nicely. "This way I know it will always be kept safe and out of harm's way." Nina understood full well the concept of death, and didn't need any further explanation. She merely offered her father an innocent smile as she hugged him tight. This washed all the sorrow Thurion had felt just now, and his daughter's smile was met with one of his own. With Nina in his lap he reached over to Coci and settled a hand behind her neck and pulled her close for their lips to meet.

The day seemed to have drifted away. Her return from Pelagon had brought with it gifts of unexpected joy. And some loss. As they sat on the bench on the porch together, family Heavenshield grew just that little bit bigger, not only in numbers but with togetherness.

Coci arms rested around them both, no words needed now, they all knew the love that hold for each other and that was more then enough. Her fingers on her hand played gently within Thurion's longish blonde hair as she looked out over the lake. The light of midday sparkling on the water surface, like small tear drops of gems, the breeze coming to them singing it's song among the high tops of the jungle and cooling their senses and bodies.

She looked down to Nina, she sits with her father inspecting the locket, the rightful place for it, around her neck and Coci smiled. To Thurion her eyes cast, every part of him lives within her and she loves him. She thinks of this as her hand rests on her stomach and she turns back to look out across the lake.

The End.
