From within her starfighter, Isha would quietly focus upon the mottled tunnel of hyperspace. They were to exit into real space within five minutes. This was the first wave of scouting ships from the Galactic Alliance tasked to scout the Bpfasshi System.

In the wake of the Vanguard uprising on Omwat, the New Jedi Order along with the Galactic Alliance has a new mission. The threat of the Dark Jedi Cult known as "The Vanguard" must be addressed. With the cult spread across the local systems in the wake of the dismantling of the Final Order, preliminary investigative missions have dispatched New Order Jedi and Alliance operatives to search for clues.

The first came from the planet of Bpfassh. As it is, history details that this planet had prior Dark Jedi roots. All personnel are to carefully scout and if meeting local dignitaries, to follow protocol at diplomatic negotiations.

There is intel that an ancient Jedi Praxeum may still be viable as a New Jedi Order training site. Scouting, survey, and a detailed account of the site has been requested by Grand Marshal Omai Rhen.



1. The star-fighter scouting of the planet. (exploration and defense crafting)

2. This is a diplomatic mission which would require talking to the Bpfassshi leaders and convince them to join the GA. Note, it will be difficult because "The Bpfasshi don't like Jedi. They had some trouble with Dark Jedi during the Clone Wars, and chased them as far as Dagobah." Despite this earlier hostility, the Bpfasshi joined the New Republic -- so they can be convinced!

3. The discovery of the former Jedi Praxeum ( Exploration and artifact hunting for the NJO archives)

4. Investigation Objective PVE long term campaign "The Vanguard" - After the events of Omwat, the task has been set to investigate just where this new Vanguard group may be setting up a new headquarters. There are leads to Bpfasshi with a small Dark Jedi Cult that may have more information on the leader of the Vanguard, the Dark Jedi Master known as Qorbin Fal. Discover their secret base and bring back information that could lead to the next location to discover more clues on this organization.

[SIZE=12pt]The Vanguard is an imperial organisation funded by the First Order. With Star Destroyers, TIE Fighters, Stormtroopers and a burgeoning cult of Dark Sider Acolytes they control much of the territory west of the Alliance. The First Order uses them as a proxy organisation to slow the advance of the Alliance.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]Master Qorbin Fal leads the nefarious cult of Force users. Within their territory they build ziggurats formed of dark obsidian where they gather any artefacts, holocrons and Sith tomes they can find and train the new batch of recruits. Previously mass graves were uncovered in Alliance space, where they had conducted vile experiments combining Alchemy and cybernetics to create dark side abominations. [/SIZE]

A group of devious Moffs, estranged from the One Sith and shattered Imperial Remnants, descended upon nearby worlds as the Omega Protectorate collapsed. They formed an organisation known as the Final Order. Under the control of a mysterious figure, who is often referred to as The Leader but is never seen in public, they have taken control of a number of systems.[/SIZE]

As each system fell under their control, they have siphoned funds to pay for numerous Stormtrooper garrisons that are used to enforce order. When protests have broken out, they have been known to lower Star Destroyers into the atmosphere as a show of power, dispersing resistance with laser fire.[/SIZE]

Their navy was at first too strong for the Alliance to take on directly. Originally they maintained control with four full sized, modernised Imperial-class Star Destroyers:[/SIZE]

• [SIZE=12pt]ISD Impervious[/SIZE]
• [SIZE=12pt]ISD Impregnable[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]Each Star Destroyer sits as the flagship of a mobile fleet that can match everything the Alliance had that was space worthy. Each could deploy thousands of Stormtroopers, wings of TIE Fighters and outmatch any ship in the Alliance fleet.[/SIZE]

Eventually the Alliance started to tip the scales on the Final Order. Battles at Javin, Feenix in deep space, and finally an all-out assault on Sullust led to the Final Order’s strength being broken. The Alliance turned its attention to removing the First Order from Eriadu and making inroads into One Sith space.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]The Leader turned out to be a Dark Jedi Master known as Qorbin Fal. Whilst he continued operations near Alliance space, notably at Omwat, the new Alliance war machine scattered what was left of their military, whilst the New Jedi Order brought an end the their vile experiments and purged each of their dark temples.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]However the First Order, concerned at the rapid expansion of the Alliance gathered what was left of the Final Order. A separate entity was formed, known as The Vanguard.[/SIZE]
