  • Functionally the same as a Flamethrower, the Plasmathrower deceptively expels large bursts of plasma that burn just like fire.
  • Plasma, in a state between liquid and gas, tends to remain on things it touches. Therefore, a person or object that is struck will burn continuously until the plasma is either removed or quelled.
  • Plasma has an ionic charge, therefore it can tamper with or short electronics.

Plasma: It burns, it stays burning, it's incredibly nasty stuff. Because of its potentially relative permanence, this insidious weapon is highly effective against armor and infantry, as well as artillery.

Ionic: The plasma has a chance of shorting out electronics, or tampering with their functionality.

Short range: In order to assure maximum damage output, and to maintain efficiency of the Plasma, the range for the thrower is severely limited. Within 3.5 meters

Limited dosage: Plasma is handled in small amounts, because too much of it even in containment could inhibit functionality for other systems in an integrated unit.

Friendly fire: Make sure none of your friends are in the line of fire. It's very indiscriminate.

"Our buyers enjoy the most damaging weapons that the Galaxy can boast, and we aim to deliver. Flamethrowers have widely been considered some of the most tried and true destructive weapons in the Galaxy, and have been underutilized as a rule. We believe this is a tragedy.

With Balmorran's Droids standing at the forefront of a Galactic War Economy, we wanted to ensure maximum levels of carnage against both infantry and opposed droids. To that end, we have weaponized plasma in order to wreak havoc on machinery and organics alike.

<A test video plays. Screaming is heard above the sounds of flames crackling. Phaygus hastily stops the recording.>

Oops, I suppose that footage wasn't cut from the final product. My apologies. Some of the tech got a bit mishandled, and… well, suffice it to say, no one died in the making of this product."

As you can see above, you're presently one rating away from achieving balance here.

You will also need to add a 'potential' in here so that people can call their own damage. E.g. 'Therefore, a person or object could conceivably burn continuously...', 'Because of its potentially relative permanence...', etc.
