The Excalibur-Class Assault Cruiser was the first class of cruiser style warships created by TDI, and for the use by the COTBR. Though it does possess a two squadron of fighters, the warship is more of a "get in the trenches and duke it out" kind of monster. It comes heavily armed from front to back, with weapons to support ship-to-ship fighting and to deal with pesky starfighters. However, it possess above average speed but it suffers in making turns due to it's elongated design.
It has a cargo bay that can be stocked with spare parts and consumables. The latter can be stocked to support up to three months in space before being called back for restocking. It has prison cells, or a prison block, that can hold up to roughly five prisoners. The warship comes with a medical bay, that is stocked with medical droids purchased from [member="Mr. J.P. Huntington"] and maintenance droids also purchased from him.
The crew to run an Excalibur-Class Assault Cruiser is as follows:
