APPEARANCE:
Brakan is a large individual, even for his race. Towering over most people. His build is quite muscular. Partly due to his rigorous training regime and partly due to subconsciously pouring The Force into his very cells.
BIOGRAPHY:
Brakan was born on the eve of 12TH Taungsday, 844 ABY. At the peak of the Netherworld crisis.
Born at the exact moment Billions vanished from the Galaxy.
On Draconia, as part of the Netherworld crisis, a maelstrom formed around one of the hospitals. It was in this hospital that Brakan was born. Being born in the middle of such a maelstrom is how he earned his title of Vortex Born.
It would become apparent that he had a rare genetic mutation that changed his breath weapon. Being a beam of black fire. A call back to ancient Draconian legends of a mighty warrior who bellowed black fire that consumed his enemies. Brakan was heralded as the reincarnation of this hero.
Brakan Raskris would join the Draconian Defence Force, to try and live up to the legend. Quickly growing to prominence and earning the title/rank of Gifted One.
When Zakuul claimed the right to challenge for the throne, Brakan was chosen as the planet’s representative. A truly great honour, but it placed the weight of his world on his shoulders.
After a long duel, Brakan grew arrogant as he had the upper hand for most of second half of the fight. Even going so far as to scar his opponent’s face. I’m his arrogance, he was blindsided by his opponent.
After shouldering the shame of losing, Brakan still respects the soldier he fought, but despises Zakuul.
